i think that's because of the quality of them safety in numbers the trouble there's not one decent one. Not one positive from yesterday's game...maybe Moi. why are we still struggling with the right back position at this stage of pre season? Its not a difficult position to fill surely our great recruitment team can find one in the whole of Europe. I sort of agree but not with the wide player bit he seemed to play down the middle not wide last night - can't see how we will fit him and Armstrong in starting 11 if we play 2 up front which would be Gabbi/Austin. PEH/Lemina/Armstrong with Cedric and Bertrand giving the width is how I see us going. One thing really evident is that Davis should not be near the first team now good servant but doesn't have the pace now shame - JWP looked miles above him and with Romeu to fit in as well with Moi we have loads of options to fit in. Still would like a RB and Striker.

My hope is that under Hughes we can beat the promoted sides and those down around us - in 6 games against promoted sides last year we didn't win 1! Although Wolves will be tough with their squad - Huddersfield, Cardiff, Fulham should yield better returns.

A team that got to Wembley twice - once with the worst manager ever though. I dont think we are that bad but as long as I have supported Saints we have always been 2 players light. for me... Clasie was Koeman signing so different from other 2 and he had decent pedigree unlike Carillo who someone deserves the sack for on that decision alone....let alone extending the windsock's deal after his performance that season Yes he did well at start and when he came back but look who was in front of him and how many shots he had to face....stupid decision that extension but goes along with 99% of decisions made last 2 years.

Well the difference is 3 games - I buy mine because I like the people I go with - I like where I am in the ground - not too many t0ssers around me. More than enough to renew even though I know I will miss some.
