  1. Totally agree and will add in the second half too on a better night he could easily have scored four with a bit more luck/skill/guile/ability. Thought at times last night we looked really good going forward - Tadic didn't try too hard, Redmond was excellent and ran at them all night. All Palace really offered was Benteke, with Townsend and Puncheon on edge of the play - does Sakho have a 50p head 20m????
  2. Great team performance tonight we seemed to be really together saw Romeu, Tadic, Davis all rallying when goal down. Surprised he didn't bring on Jayrod earlier but good to bring on height at end good subs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thought that was one of the best passing displays this season. McQueen had a cracker when you consider how little he has played lately. Romeu outstanding but Redmond my Motm. Well done Claude with some recruiting we could have a great season next year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Some who post on here did play at a very high level...Michael Owen played at the highest does that make him right have you heard him? Just because you soak up everything little thing thats said without question doesn't make it right. Shouldn't you be getting your facepaint and stripey jimjams on ready for tonight ;-)?
  5. I think Austin may have picked up another injury going by his tweet earlier thats now been deleted.
  6. More games in The Championship ...same price?
  7. Are you saying 23 is too old then? Why its my opinion....I have watched both have you? I think Zohore is worth a gamble - I hope Sam proves me wrong but going on watching him for about four years I still am uncertain he will make a good Prem player. I want him to prove me wrong. Also what other strikers in academy do you think we have coming through?
  8. Because this is a football forum where fans watch week after week and form their opinion? Maybe if you can't accept that its not the place for you? Professional pundits have Robbie Savage, Phil Neville and Merson ...do you agree with them?
  9. I am not convinced he will make it - if you read what I also wrote it said coming through...he has been through and out the other side.
  10. I would like maybe try and get Zohore from Cardiff he is a bit raw but has strength, power and scores well in a poor side. Colin W8nker rates him so wont be cheap but worth a gamble as we have nothing coming through our academy.
  11. I doubt it but would have liked us to try it at least double the chance with both. I am not a Puel out at all costs person but think its a hard one here - he hasn't been fully supported in the market. Just the diamond, the over rotation, Europe failure and some game tactically has left me unsure about him. When we have been good we have been bloody good so torn a bit....as I said above maybe its the backroom that needs a shake up too.
  12. Agreed but have we even tried changing to a formation that may double the chance? We have a midfield that has zero chance of scoring - our academy for strikers is bare or always injured. Like for like all the time doesn't help like Saturday - Jayrod looked sharpish and having Long alongside to double our options ...maybe. All bollix really but your stat proves not been a good year for goals at home for us. Austin and Gabba injuries have not helped coupled with Long not being as good as last and Jayrod struggled early season.
  13. My problem with him is that I dont see any change of tactics or formation to counter the opposition very often. On Saturday couldn't we have Long and Jayrod running at them that would have kept them back a bit instead of swamping us in midfield with just one outlet up front its always like for like in formation? Boufal is not a winger to alienate him wide doesn't use his strengths. I go back again to the Spurs home game where we got battered for last 20 minutes of the half yet came out same formation same players yet a switch to stop Rose was an obvious solution. Puel without doubt has been severely hampered by our shocking recruitment...Taylor?? Why? Fonte debacle etc but sometimes I think he is too rigid - I am more concerned with whats helping him too in Watson and Eric Black. Its been an odd season some complete dross like WBA where he swapped 3 of the back 4 to Everton at home where were brilliant.
  14. With the leagues top scorer and a decent youth academy as back up. As well as good recruiting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Of course he is he is too good for us and needs to play higher level. As long as we recruit well and get 50m ish then good luck to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 0.1/10 battered us Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Twist or change the assistants at least tactically shocking today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Romeu outstanding bar one tackle but when you have the useless defensive units alongside you doing bugger all he is forgiven. Puels tactics were the reason we were hanging on always like for like never change. Long and Rodriguez not leaving on the shocking Tadic. Redmond was far too deep never threatening. Like watching England all play no end product. For those slating Boufal just maybe if played in right position we may get the best not stuck wide limiting his threat. 20. They do though as the first thing ITV did was roll out the head of Muslims in U.K. Who made it quite clear where they stood. Whether that means they trust the western world enough to help I didn't get that impression but as I said to me it needs them to hep end IS . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I think its almost impossible but is anyone really that alone with terrorist acts such as yesterday - I would imagine most have accomplices/cells/groups that are aware of them. Stopping them as I say almost impossible really how do you stop someone crashing into crowds of people?
  22. The only way i believe this will be solved is from within the Islamic community - there is nothing the western world will be able to do to stop these extremists. I think it will need Muslims to stand up against IS and prevent them doing in the name of Islam.
  23. How would that stop British born muslims like that bastard yesterday?
  24. Was called up to the squad this week but had to drop out through injury.
