If the summer comes round and there is not a clamour for the top clubs to sign Saints players we will have had a poor season and I am sure a few people will be happy about that. But the players will not be the quality of VVD, Tadic, Forster, Bertrand. But the way the club is working currently I cannot see that happening.

Does anyone think along the lines that if we didn't lose out on Toby we may have never had VVD. But we did and now VVD will more then likely go at some point which means we will get a replacement. This replacemt may be as good or better then VVD - based on our previous dealings (which have been spot on)

I don't see why they can't give the club what they have on him, all very well slandering someone's name and the football club but not giving the club the appropriate content is bang out. Telegraph might want to be careful otherwise the club will go after them and have very deep pockets
