Any way I look at this topic, it seems to be a special case in terms of racism/nostalgia, and not meriting any form of reconstructive therapy for anyone slightly on either side of the fence on the issue. It's a part of the nation's history, good or bad. There are more important things to worry about. The whole Gollywog issue is something I would have no problem approaching a black friend about for his opinion. I'm sure he/she would understand, and gladly give their input.

I'm all strangley kinda "meh" about the season at the moment. The injuries have put us in our place regarding depth of squad, we now have to concentrate on clawing our way back. Right now it's a game to game sort of feeling and waiting to get a stronger team out. It's great seeing our youngsters come up and seize the day, but it's still a bit of a lull for me in a way that seems unfair to the valiant efforts of the team. What the hell. Let's stick it up 'em! They don't like it up 'em!
