The FA cup became less important when the all day TV coverage on cup final day stopped. Anyone remember the "It's a knockout" competition Versus MU? Saints losing that competition was the fortelling of our cup final win.........Anyway.......If it's not on the telly all day, like it used to be, then yeah, the FA cup is not as shiny as it used to be. Edit: just look at the superbowl in the US. It's a pile of crap and commercials, but the more they promote it, the more important they think it is. They even think that people in other countries care about it!

I said I was confident that he will become regarded highly, and in the proximity of Matt. 20 goals a season does not really come into it if he makes a great contribution to the goals. AL is a great prospect at the moment. I am fully confident that he will become a Saints legend, one club maestro, and overall local hero that will be different to, but roughly as highly regarded by fans as the great MLT. The future is bright, the future is red and white.....But mostly red, it would seem.

I reckon Gaston is still well in the frame for the future. He has obviously needed some work in training and gelling. I think that maybe he has been getting that while out of the spotlight. I expect him to stay and excel.

Our team is still way off full strength. We know the stand-ins can play together as we saw against Cardiff.....However, it is still a fragile set-up. IMO, it will all be down to confidence on the day. I predict a win, a draw, or a defeat for us.
