My missus (American) just loved him in the vicar of Dibley, and was quite upset when I told her about his death. I showed her some youtube clips featuring Trigger, and she absolutely got it straight away, which is not that easy with Americans and such localised comedy as Only Fools and Horses. She was immediately as taken with the Trigger character as she was with his Dibley character. I see an Only Fools and Horses DVD collection in next years Xmas stocking. Thanks Trigger!!! While I don't think it's the reason for his lack of current form, I think he has completed his ambitions. He has no chance of going to Brazil, and the England call-up would have been the last tick on any bucket list he may have had. I don't mean any disrespect to him at all, but since the England call-up, the only way is down for him given his age. Maybe he has realised this deep down, and it could be affecting him subliminally.

Good news indeed. However, i think that the summer will be less than clear and that is the time that we will get the most upheaval. I expect a sale of the club after the season ends, and as always, it will be messy. Other that, I'm still happy with today's events!
