Toshack is actually Turkish for testicles - Make of that what you will.

Ranieri would be a bloody good appointment to be fair but we're all set on koeman now.
-
What a boring day of nothingness. Nothing has even changed with the bookies and having dipped in and out of Betfair to see what money is being exchanged about a tenner has gone on today. Hopefully all quiet before the big announcement but it would be nice to get some rumours about Koeman being spotted at the airport again or something.

Do you think Morgan will get a game, either from the start or as a sub? Obviously DD was impressed with his attitiute and training when with the extended squad. -

Also student isn't even a saints fan, if I remember rightly he's a Brighton fan so how he'd know so much about us is anyone's guess.

Jos talking about Koeman - If you can understand it! http://www.soccernews.nl/news/255481/Nederlander_flirt_met_Koeman:_Hij_zou_passen_bij_Southampton The interest from Southampton in Ronald Koeman seems to be . More seriously Jos Hooiveld hopes his club strikes and the trainer to the Premier League has , as he says in interview with Voetbal International . "At Southampton we have a half years ago to take a new road, the gameplay even more sophisticated. As a relatively small club in the Premier League we try well cared for football forward, putting pressure. Koeman would struggle to adapt ," says the 31 -year-old defender . " During my holiday in Ibiza , I spoke to a number of Feyenoord , Reuben Chess, Samuel Armenteros and they all raved about him. " Hayfield , which came under Mauricio Pochettino from grace , hopes the arrival of a new manager also new opportunities . " The departure of the coach and the arrival of a new coach , the cards are reshuffled . Perhaps there is still a competitor in Southampton leaves . Because , according to the British newspaper we go this summer a lot of players lose . If you believe everything what they write , should we be happy if we are still left with eleven . "

To be fair he's acting as an England player whilst with the England squad so it's not such a heinous crime and I actually think other England players would sign other clubs shirts in an England capacity. If he said he hopes to join Liverpool though that's a bit out of order.

Koeman has also shortened to 2/5, was 1/2 this morning. I've been following it all on Betfair as well to see where the money is going, people still steadily put small amounts on Moyes but it's all going on Koeman, people hovering up at 1.5 to 1.6, over a grand.

Koeman Koeman Koeman Koeman Koeman Cameleon You Koeman go, you Koeman gooo Ohooooo.

It is hard to reveal a source when you make it up. So if Moyes was talking about us then it's an exciting offer, sounds good to me. According to you Moyes rejected us due to lack of positive funding, maybe 50m + Sales isn't enough for Moyes now who thinks above his station after 5 minutes of failing at united but it will be plenty for another decent manager.
-
Can you point me in the direction of Moyes stating this as fact please? Thanks
-
to be honest I'm not too bothered being used as a stepping stone as it means we've done well, a manager can't move on to bigger and better things if he's been rubbish for us.
-
He's behiiind youu!

Breaking news about Lambert coming up on ssn
-
Nah, why would you be nice to someone who has shafted you? He did his job, did it well then moved on before the end of his contract when a bigger club came calling, don't blame him for that but if the club have offered him an improved contract and a nice warchest to spend on players which he then used his agent to negotiate a better deal with Spurs why should the club then be all nicey nice to him? It probably hurt them, in time they might appreciate what he's done but for now he's caused upheaval so I'm not surprised they haven't thanked him.

You saw how I went in to tackles Russ mate! Actually that was more sadistic!
-
Come on, this is exciting! It's what football is all about, the fans are the only ones who stick by a team so we have to deal with it, and some of the masochistic ones of us enjoy it!
-
Bigging us up really, saying we should break bank to keep best players and give poch what he wants in terms of signings and let him try to get us into top 6. Also saying we could attract managers like Simeone due to money in premier league. Hmmm
-
Whatever you have done Baj, seems to have done the trick, I'm no longer being redirected. Thanks
-
A view from a spurs supporter. He raises some good points, I think Poch is more valuable to us due to the team spirit etc than he would be elsewhere. I can't quite believe the support that Poch is getting. I have nothing against the guy but what has he achieved to warrant being manager of our club? I just don't get it. He done well with the Saints in his first full season but not as good as Laudrup did at Swansea and where is he now? Poch is obviously a decent coach but c'mon guys they have bloody good players, 3 are going to the WC with England opposed to our NIL and as a settled squad they are better then us at the moment because we don't even know what our best eleven is! Yet they finish 15-16 points behind us in the league and we had a change of manager mid season in one of the most frustrating seasons ever. It may come back to haunt me and Poch may turn out to be the next Martinez in a season or two but at the moment I think it represents a massive risk.

No, they work at saints as well as other places but that's it, I very much doubt they are aware of this forum, definitely wouldn't post on here.
-
Hope so, but they were pretty adamant it's actually already happened. Hopefully be proved wrong, but going to be an interesting week ahead.

Heard today from someone reliable, ie they got the info from the club that poch has signed a long term deal. Unfortunately the flip side is the deals are done for Shaw to United and lallana to Liverpool, expect announcements before the England team meet up at the weekend. That's all I've been told, I'm assuming the funds are being made available to poch if he's signed up.
