I personally think he's waiting for Spurs, but failing that we should be second favourites for him if we were interested. Nathan Redmond tweeted him earlier wishing him happy birthday, hopefully he's had a word....

I've got some bets going on with bet365 and I they're not showing it, I can watch other games but saints isn't available.

Wasn't Mourinho Bobby Robson's translator many years ago, he hasn't done bad.
-
Who are our direct competition, who has so far done better business than us in that bracket? I'm sorry but your comment about Redmond is pretty laughable, what else is he supposed to do apart from play well in preseason friendlies. You will never be impressed by anyone in preseason friendlies because they play poor teams?

What about Redmond? Bagged a couple of goals and looks really good. We have more games this season so need strength in depth, we cannot be buying £15-£20m players up front all the time to keep people happy. A fell decent squad will help us do well and we haven't finished our business yet either. I'm fully confident in our squad at the moment and the extra players we will get in will improve us even more so.
-
Maybe playing up front will be natural to him. If he can score a goal get him in front of it.
-
Exactly, I don't think his pace is too far behind Mane's and if he can finish well then he'd make a decent striker.
-
Is it that hard to fathom?

Puel is probably bored of preseason to be fair, he's probably itching to get started in the league. Hopefully his pre-match pressers will be more entertaining but no one's apart from Strachan's were any good anyway. He's said he's animated on the side line so that should be interesting.

From Jeremy Wilson's interview with Puel yesterday it seems he likes the idea of putting Redmond up front, that will get the panickers panicking about not buying a new forward...
-
Still 16-1 so I'm tempted. He's obviously leaving West Brom and we would be mad not to even consider it.
-
Hopefully he has grown up a bit since his spat but Morgan did the same to us and went on to have a fantastic season. Berahino was wanted by spurs and I expect he was going to earn a nice wage on top of that so was pretty miffed when it never happened. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he is clearly a talented player and fits our MO perfectly with being a young English talented player. Would be an excellent addition imo.
-
I think Berahino is the player we're waiting to hear from. He would come to us over the other two I would have thought.
-
Can I do a generic, sarcastic, ungrateful comment too? We need to strengthen our squad with the extra games we have. We can't buy amazing attacking players all the time, this is a decent signing to strenthen us as a squad. Puel knows him and knows what he can do.

I think it was Saint_Richmond that had a conversation with himself and then tried to deny it even though it was there in the open. I think Saint_Robbie is his alter-ego. Saint Charlie had about 5 usernames and was banned for a while when it was found out.

£190K a week for a squad/sub player is a luxury Man U probably don't want to have.
-
Do we? We have only let players go when the buying team and paid through the nose, so I don't think we would welcome "any" offer. Why would they force the captain out of the door anyway? Weird post.

Breathe mate!

This is true, why anyone would be anxious, worried or frustrated is beyond me.

Max away capacity seems to be about 3k which is still pathetic. Not sure why we didn't take them all.

We've been doing that and improving so moot point. Also lots of our experienced decent players have signed contracts keeping them here for years to come so they see something good within the club. Maybe they should listen to you as you're better positioned than them and know best.
