I'd go with this. If we have academy products coming through who can go on to be better than Cork (maybe) then they will be given a chance and Cork can move on elsewhere where he will get his game time.

Ashley Williams may be out which is good for us as he's probably their best defender and in midfield they've lost Sigurdsson, Ki Sung Yeung and Routledge who are 3 first teamers. So looks like 4 first team players could be out but we're without Toby, Morgan, Vic, Long, Rodriguez and maybe Mane so I think we're worse off.

I think we're on an upward curve now, JWP will hit 150 games and more I believe and I hope to see others do the same if they're good enough. Reed could be another one, maybe Targett? We're in a better place than when we sold Lallana, Shaw and Chambers but also selling them made us stronger. We'll always sell the odd gem, can't be helped as we're not at the same level as Chelsea, Man U or City but I believe some of the new talent coming through will want to stay if we can keep up our ambition in the league.

Not sure what English has to do with it to be honest. We're going to bring players in to play in the middle when the summer comes be it Clasie or Martins Indi or whoever. We will be signing players better than Cork and have a decent number of players coming through the academy that can play midfield.

Could Sneijder walk into any starting 11 of any teams in the Prem that are better than us or more attractive? I'm not sure he would. Even if it's random bullshiv of crapppy websites we have to make it happen, even if he doesn't want to!

I suppose to be fair he was pretty solid with his tackling but I found his distribution to be poor and slow and Arsenal forced him into too many errors. It's getting to know the pace of the prem I suppose.
