I think Sachs contributed more to the world of comedy in 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers than either of those two boring, attention seeking, unfunny, overpaid tw*ts have in their careers. I never get why people find Brand in particular funny. I don't get why. Nobody is in the slightest doubt that this was a financial decision made by Lowe, rather than a footballing decision by the manager. It even says as much on the OS. I can't see that JP has anything to hide.

Hope to be going to my first game of the season against Bristol City in a couple of weeks, having been kept away from Saints matches by geographical barriers. If I am honnest, I want to stand in the Northam chanting Stern John's name, along with Rasiak, Saganowski, Only one Andrew Davies, Nigel Pearson's Red n' White Army, Swing Lowe and anything else I can think of. Actually, I'd rather do it in the Itchen North, but that's not going to happen. My question is, would that be acceptable? Showing the people who's wages we are paying that this is anything but good enough. Or, is it likely to have a negative effect on our young team and damage our chances of survival. Afterall, relegation is far from guaranteed and there are some very poor sides in this league. Oppinions...

I mentioned Smith. Cork and Holmes are apparently quite good and I'm glad they're in our squad. Wotton may be pretty average, but we are going to need him to fill gaps in defence and midfield this season. The six I mentioned just seem completely pointless. None of them add anything to the team as far as I can see. I'd take Saga over the whole lot of them at right now.

Simple, Lowe choses when we are poor. We can't afford a manager, who may well have us midtable at this point in time, yet we can afford to fork out £1.2m for some French teenager. We can't afford John, Saga or Rasiak, but can afford Robertson, Pekhart, Gasmi, Smith, Pulis and Forecast.
