    Cortese V Lowe

IMO up until the ST release, Cortese has been nigh on perfect. Very professional, keeping his gob shut in the press. He has supported Pardew in the transfer market, without being wreckless with Liebherr's money. The STs situation is disappointing, but that is very minor in comparisson to the stuff Lowe has thrown at us. The instalment plan, or lack of, would seem like an oversight to me. There is no reason for it, the club wont make more money from not having the installment plan. If, in the next couple of weeks, the club brought out an instalment plan and scrapped the surcharge on internet bookings everyone would be happy again.
  2. It is bullsh*t. Surely if anything online sales should be free and there should be surcharges for using the ticket office at all times if anything. I'd have thought they'd want as many people as possible to buy online to save on manual labour. Major own goal all round on this one. The lack of payment plan doesn't bother me, but it will put a lot of people off.
  3. At 11pm? This is just nutty. A nice surprise, but a bit nutty. Like finding a box of Cornettos you'd forgotten about in you freezer.
  4. Hopefully he will form a formidable partnership with Pulis and the Imps will walk League 2.
  5. I would disagree with that too. That was a sh*t game really, which was only three oportunistic goals (one of which was brilliant) different from the trip to Wycombe a couple of weeks before. Thought Morgan was pretty average and the only mention I could find of him in the match report was when he got booked. I'm not saying he had a bad game, but I don't see how anyone can call that performance perfect. One of his best performances I can remeber was the 2-2 league draw, against Norwich I think. It was the game Connolly scored a cracker anyway. Millwall was a good performance, but he made that dodgy pass to give away a penalty and seemed to lose it after that.
  6. He was very good in those games, but I wouldn't say he was THE stand out player. Only 20% of people seem to agree with you regarding the Millwall game: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15678 My oppinion of Schneiderlin is: Good player - Definitely One of our best - Definitely The Best player - No Irreplaceable - Definitely not.
  7. Don't! Don't ask him that question, you'll set him off again!
  8. Nope, don't think I could ever bring myself to have a dump at SMS knowing the number of fat, sweaty arses which have been pressed against those seats.
  9. Didn't realise Schneiderlin played for Norwich last season.
  10. This argument has more holes in it than 2pac's vest. For a start Lambert was hardly ever negated by defenders. There were times when he was playing as the lone striker and had bugger all service, but that wasn't his fault. Schneiderlin did have bad games. I'm pretty sure he played in both Swindon games and our midfield was terrible in both of them. We've also had games where we've played brilliantly but Schneiderlin wasn't on the pitch, such as the JPT final.
  11. We said that in 2002, then Anders knocked the Argies out.
  12. Probably got a couple of you propping up the bar after the match.
  13. I was surprised not to here any of the "you look like a Wotsit" chants from the crowd.
  14. Didn't they play each other in the Cup a few years ago. I seem to remember Stelling telling jokes about having 4 teams on the pitch.

  16. Yeah, that kind of took the shine off it a bit for me, would have been great to see VP get off the mark. Still; you guy's seemed to be genuinely on the pace of the Ferraris this weekend. The fact that Alonso qualified behind Petrov, had no incidents and still didn't get past until about 5 flaps from the end says a lot. Can't understand RBR blaming Webber, other than the fact that they are Austrian and German WDC would be a much better PR coup. I wonder if we will see some musical chairs with Webber, Massa, Kubica and possibly Raikkonen next season.
  17. But which team would Rickie play in???
  18. Wasn't the photo, I seem to remember the hat/beard/moobs combination at Flemming Park a year or two ago. Why were you playing at RB? You were nodding my crosses into all four corners during the warm up, you should have been playing up front instead of Marian Grant.
  19. Nah, bronze is brilliant. I've never gone for anywhere else either.
  20. Pretty entertaining eventually.
  21. I have to admit I didn't recognise Rob at first without the wooly hat, beard and man boobs. Not quite sure where you get ginger from though.
  22. Nope, I understand that rule thankyou very much. It was one of those 5 aside pitches they've painted onto the pitch that threw me off. I wasn't paying attention and though one of their lines was the halfway line.
  23. They remind me a bit of Colchester in our CCC playoff season. They caught a lot of teams out by overperforming and beat us twice. Ended up well into the top half. The season after they didn't really lose anyone, but got found out and were relegated. Same with teams like Hull and Wigan when they got promoted to the Prem.
  24. Dodgy finances at Charlton, can't see them improving much.
