Who's saying that? A team with players like Bart, Seaborne, Harding, Martin, Antonio (possibly) and Connolly, plus a few quality additions could easily go a few rounds in most competitions. Possibly even win the JPT. They were all good enough for the first team last season. I think the 'best team available' might get pretty tired after playing 60 games in a season and I don't want to see pointless Burley-esq rotation where we play a different team every game.

Yes. Having a fresh League team and a hungry, eager to prove themselves cup team, what a terrible (not) idea! I'm not saying stick rigidly to that EXACT line up. I think the team would look a heck of a lot better for not having to play another 10-15 possible cup games on top of the 46 League games. What I'm basically saying is play the reserves in the cup game. It would be a bit of a bummer if Lambert got a broken leg in a JPT tie against Dagenham and missed half the season. It would also give players like Harding a chance to prove themselves in a competitive match, because he isn't going to get many chances if Dickson stays fit.

I think Adrian has hit a whole bag of nails on the head. Being fat isn't the main reason I hate Corden, although it is a nice added bonus. As has already been stated, he is an unfunny mong who appears to be on every TV show, awards ceremony and even the UK charts. Luckily I'm not in the UK so I wont have to make the decision whether or not to watch the show.

I'd like to possibly see seperate teams in the League and cup matches. As in completely seperate 11s, because if you just swap 4 or 5 here and there it ruins the continuity. League Team: Davis ???? - Fonte - Jaidi - Dickson Puncheon - Hammond - Morgan - Lallana Lambert - Barnard Cup Team: Bart ???? - Seaborne - Martin - Harding Antonio (please) - Wotton (or better) - ???? - Holmes (or better) Connolly - ???? Something like that anyway.

Out off all those players released, how many actually played last season? A handful of appearances for Thomas and Gillet. James was a stop gap for when more tallented players were unavailable.

I can't believe they don't have video replays in football. The World Cup is probably the biggest sporting event in the world after the olympics and it's stuck in the stone age. If nothing else players like that CIV muppet wouldn't even try diving if they knew the video ref would spot them and they'd get booked. Would make for a far better game with much less cheating.

Roy Keane I think would be a candidate. And Shevchenko played in all 5 of Ukraine's WC games in Germany I think. Scored a couple too and missed one in a shoot out. From that neck of the woods, I'm not sure about Kanchelskis and Mostovoi. Arshavin definitely hasn't, although I'd hardly say he was great.

Why on Earth would the club comment on Schneiderlin if he is still playing for Saints? IF he signed for another club, I'm sure Saints would have the common decency to inform us. Why would you expect the OS to comment on a load of bullsh*t speculation printed in the press? As for signings, you have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. We could have signed pre-contract agreements with 2 RBs, a 20 goal a season England U21 striker and a huskie of a central midfielder for all you know. The club is just doing it by the book and not releasing pointless statements to the press regarding signings which haven't happened yet.
