He's played many of those games at RB and just hasn't looked good. Slow and useless in the air. Also makes errors, like that school boy lunge to give away a penalty against Norwich. I'm not saying he's old, but he is hardly a kid either. If he was 17 or 18, I'd get the 'he's young and learning' line. At 22 however I'd hope for more composure and consistency. I wasn't thinking of Wotton, although having seen James in the middle at Leeds, I would preffer Wotton. Morgan and Hammons obviously, then Puncheon.
-
He would be my 4th choice RB, 4th choice RM and 4th choice CM. Not particularly convincing in any of them IMO. Plus at 22 he isn't all THAT young.
-
Cruyff? I'd keep him definitely, but based losely on the assumption that we were promoted this year, he'd be 35 at the start of the season. HCDAJFU, but I wouldn't be betting on him staying fit for a season, a la Burley with Claus and Powell in '07.

Me and two mates are sitting in 528 - 531.

We should destroy them. Play like we did in the last two games (I've had Wycombe lobotomised from my brain) and we will. I'm going to go nuts and predict a 2-1 win. W00T!!!!!

Lambert, Fonte, Connolly, Barnard, Lallana, Davis, Bart, Harding, Schneiderlin. Waigo and Antonio, are a bit of a maybe. I'd try and take Waigo on another season long loan next year, not sure I'd keep him permanently. Antonio will be good enough one day, we should definitely sign him. Hammond is a maybe, as are Semi and Holmes. Jaidi I think will be too old by the time we get there. Ditto Murty. Haven't see Seaborne yet. Definite nos, IMO, are: Pulis, Wotton, James, Forecast, Perry and Molyneux.

Lambert, Hammond and Seaborne. or... 19 Ricardo Fullers

Has anyone else been enlightened on the world of classical music booking their tickets?

Tried to book online over the weekend using my grandparents STs, but the stupid website wouldn't register them. Now spent all afternoon being told, "all opperators are currently busy, please try again later. -
USF1 have applied to the FIA to have their entry defered until 2011. Stefan GP are apparently trying to take their slot using Toyota Chassis'.

Good form chaps. Jolly good. Was actually quite undisappointed with my performance for a change. Rabbit... -
Gordon Bennett, I thought we'd put that one to bed? He looks pretty decent in League 1. Not always, he has games where he goes missing, but he looks decent. Arsenal though? You really think we have players in our squad that Wenger is envious of? That was just a rumour banded about by Lowe/Morgan's agent to try and convince fans we'd found a world beater.

We beat Gillingham in the first weekend of October to start our run. Since then we've had one crap result (Brighton) in half a year of football. There have been a few where we'd hoped for better, but Brighton was the only one where I though, "f**kin' 'ell Saints".

@ Chelsea falling to bits.

Biggest win since: 4-0 at home to Hull in '07 Last time we scored 5: 5-2 vs Barnsley in '07 Last time we had 4 different scorers in a match: 6-0 at Wolves (Saga, Surman, Best +o.g.) Last time 4 Saints players scored: 5-2 vs Yeovil in '06 (Dyer, Jones, BWP, Skacel) Just one question. What's Saints biggest ever win after falling behind?

Is Wenger *****ing about that tackle? Wouldn't put it past him to be fair. I remember him saying Martin Taylor should never be allowed to play football again. That tackle was worse than Shawcrosses today, but there was no malice in it. Eduardo was just a bit to quick and Taylor caught his standing leg. Seen the replay a few times and today's tackle wasn't a red card offence IMO. Shawcross had the ball, he just took a heavy touch and Ramsey took it off his feet a nano second before he could get it back under control.

Ok, locked unless any credible source can be found.

Good stuff. Mike, you got any maths to add to this thread? -
Quality. I love that website.

I hope he was being ironic, because you haven't even scratched the surface of the grammatic errors in that post. He does have a point though. Social networking does inhibit vehicle ownership.

Bit of a none story surely? :-s

I saw that too. Almost missed the goal watching that idiot lob it onto the pitch, then watching the ref waiting for him to blow up. Luckily he didn't and I didn't.
-
Just seen that. Horrible injury. Best wishes to him, that could be a career ender for the most promising youngster in England.

A great performance, probably better just about than Norwich. The difference in score was only decided by the quality of the opposition. Norwich have the quality to at least keep the score respectable when they are playing badly. Walsall today were completely garbage. They gave us so much space and time on the ball it was incredible. Their fans should be disgusted with that performance. Davis - 7 Got nowhere near a quality free kick. Made two good saves, one in injury time. Not much else to do. Otsemobor - 7 Linked up well with Puncheon and boy can he shift when he wants to. Fonte - 10 MOTM. Nothing got past him (appart from when he was in the wall). Excellen, can't fault him for anything. Very cool customer. Jaidi - 7 Good all round performance. Harding - 7 Such a calm head. Lallana - 8 Took the p*ss. Deserved his goal. Hammond - 8 Ran the show in the middle. Schneiderlin - 7 Good passing and a few decent tackles. Puncheon - 9 Soooooooo good on the ball. Excellent finish for the first goal too. Barnard - 9 Great performance, two well taken goals. Another disallowed. Lambert - 8 Brilliant individual goal. Good build up play all round. Subs: Thomas - 7 Shhhhooooooot!!! Did nothing wrong when he came on. Antonio - 7 Not on long, but looked class. Think he set up Lallana's goal. Waigo - 7 Decent cameo performance, would still start with LB and RL.
