Great contribution. I avoid Soccer Saturday, I watch Final Score (muted) on the BBC website with Saints Player on in the background.

Only seen Niemi and Davis play, but Shilts is regarded as one of the all-time greats. From my generation it would easily be Niemi - miles better than Kelvin.

Sounds as if Vassell and Schlupp tore him a new one at times, too much pace for him. He has the turning circle of a bus, so any quick or tricky striker will have him done for pace/technique. I don't quite get Seaborne, he's not tall, strong or dominant enough to be a big bruising centre back, but he's not good enough on the deck or quick enough to look after players like Vassell and Schlupp who - to quote our ex-manager Alan Pardew - 'raped' him at times.

Unlucky to lose based on the 2nd half, sounds like we battered them. Shocking defending in the first 45 was the final nail in our coffin.
-
Our defending sounds f*cking awful. No communication!

2-1! Gtfi!

F*ck f*ck f*ck f*ckety f*ck 2-0

Nugent off, Schlupp on.

F*ck sake! Vassell 1-0

As a fully-fledged member of the Liberal Elite, I despise the EDL. However, they've got as much right to protest as anyone else, so this ban shouldn't be in place unless there are serious security risks (which tbh, there probably are when a march involves the EDL and an impoverished, multi-cultural area of London). Recent events may dictate what people can and can't do in the way of public protesting for a while...

I saw them at the Guildhall on that tour as well, they were very good. I did get to see them for one final time at Glastonbury 2010 before they split up though, so that was good.

Muse - Wembley Arena, just after BH&R had come out. They played that entire album from start to finish, and then about 3 other songs, and f*cked off home. They sounded great, but the setlist really frustrated me! Stevie Wonder - Saw him at the O2 in November 2009, he played about 2hrs of stuff that nobody seemed to know that well, and then did a 30 minute medley of all the songs that people had paid £50 to see him play! FFS.

Hadn't heard about that, was it over transfer budgets etc?

I think Paul is a one-club man, been at Millwall all his professional career and can't see him leaving any time soon. He would be a good signing though, maybe not Prem level but certainly very handy in this division. A stop-gap really.

Got the 2 tickets sitting next to me right now, you shall be in receipt of them as soon as I come back to Southampton (after Sunday).

Well he is ill, so it was inevitable. The only Apple product that I use is my iPod, has no bearing on me whatsoever.

I have a feeling we'll look abroad for a centre-back now. Fonte was out in Portugal recently and was recommending some players to Adkins & Cortese, so we could see some deals coming through from those leagues.

I watched the German film 'The Lives of Others' the other day, it was very good. An interesting insight into East German paranoia and conspiracy before the wall came down.

Lanky Danish tw*t.
-
Good centre-back for this level, he would be ahead of Seaborne, Jaidi and Martin in my estimations, but still not good enough to say that position is sorted imo.

Grade A ********.

Cheers babe, the feeling's mutual. You do seem to be a bit less racist of late - new medication?

What about me?

Somebody get me a cheap copy of FIFA 12 and my free-flowing passing game will see our club rocket to the top of the league in no time.

Sh!t, I thought I deleted that website.
