One Stop ACTUALLY.

No, I don't work in there. I'm in the shop just up the road. Are you stalking me?
-
Not to mention the fact that Clyne was clearly fouled just before the free kick was given to Newcastle. That's what Pochettino was annoyed about.

They get lots of business on match days but the staff there say they get basically nobody in for the rest of the week. Might be a better idea to only open it on matchdays and when they have live music on...

Anna von Hausswolff - Ceremony She hates the comparison, but the similarities between Ms. Hausswolff and Kate Bush are too many to ignore. Her first album showcased her beautiful voice and her excellent song-writing skills as a more stripped-back effort. Her latest album though is far from stripped back. She recorded it in a vast church, and the acoustics sound great. The album is very organ-y which serves to portray the main theme - grief. http://open.spotify.com/track/3YVIafrUWsnnTbdgE5ArvF It's not driving music, but with some good headphones/speakers, the album speaks volumes.

I work in a shop, people get really annoyed by having to wait 2 minutes for their sh!t. Always pay by card unless I know I need cash (pubs at games, away day service stations, corner shops). I always use self-service machines in supermarkets too, just to save being stuck behind some obese family of 14 who've bought every packet of crisps in the shop. That's what annoys me, people buying too much sh!t. How they pay for it matters not.

66 out of 129...just over halfway. Missed out some pretty easy ones though! Hammond, Jaidi, Ormerod, Walcott, Bale, Oakley, Euell, Prutton... I thought it was only league games, so didn't include Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Stephens etc because they only played cup games last season. Never mind.

I don't think I would sing at him, I would walk over to him and say it straight to his saggy face. I seem to remember a pretty vocal round of "Nolan you're a c*nt, Nolan Nolan you're a c*nt" being sung by our entire away following at West Ham earlier in the season. Get over yourself, people swear, especially at an emotionally charged football match.

One of Cork's first games back after injury as well I think?

You did spoil my w4nk

True, and I think things tend to even themselves out like that over the course of a season. We beat Man City, so naturally we were going to lose a game that we thought we'd win too.

Dyer should've taken that penalty. What a d!ck move to deny your team-mate a hat-trick like that in a cup final!

Frustrating Taarabt was a big part of us dominating the game at Loftus Rd. Needs to happen again on Saturday - don't give him any time on the ball and a few little nips at him should wind him up sufficiently! -----------------BORUC--------------- CLYNE-----FONTE-----MAYA-----SHAW ---------MORGAN-----CORK------------ PUNCH---------RAMIREZ-------LALLANA ---------------LAMBERT--------------- Subs: K.Davis, Fox, Forren, JWP, S.Davis, Rodriguez, Mayuka

I thought we could go for a drink or something? I really think we could be close friends. I waited outside several pubs in the Harrogate area looking for a slick character that could be you, but all I could see was bumpkins. Or I was on my way to Newcastle. Whatever.

I have to admit that so far I don't think he's justified his price tag. There are several things you have to consider before you make a judgement on him though. - He's still in his early twenties, which means that he's got a long way to go in his career yet. If Gaston was 29/30 then I would say that he was very overpriced for the player that he currently is, but the fact of the matter is that he's got a lot of potential to fulfill. - He's come from the italian league, which is pretty different in terms of the football that they play. Teams are much more methodical and defensive, and the pace is a lot slower. Adjusting to the English league will take time, and don't forget that he's up against some of the best players in the world when he steps onto the pitch. - He's a flair player, which means that by his nature he will be inconsistent. I doubt there are many flair players in the world that have a great game week in, week out. - He's still settling into England. I know that seems like a bit of a lame excuse, but South America and even Italy are quite different in terms of culture to England. Once he settles in more to the way of life here i'm sure he'll be more confident and relaxed in his approach to life here. - He's our record signing, which puts a lot of pressure on young shoulders. He's not got a lot of experience in football either, so it's going to be difficult to cope. Remember Morgan Schneiderlin? Remember the abuse he got on this forum in his first season here? Look at him now, one of our best players and deemed worthy of a new 4 and a half year deal by the club. Gaston's time will come, whether it's with us or with somebody else. It's clear to see that he's got the potential to be an excellent player, it's just about fulfilling that potential.

Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

Just watched the highlights again (well, up until their 2nd goal). What the f*ck did the referee give a freekick against Clyne for!? Handball? The ref is standing 20 yards away from the incident, his linesman didn't flag for handball, in fact the only people that claimed for it were the Newcastle fans on that side! All of that is irrelevant because Clyne gets grabbed and pushed over by their player even before that incident occurs. Chris Foy is a complete waste of f*cking space and I hope that he's reffing the f*cking Wessex League by this time next year. I thought these were supposed to be the best refs in the country? I can count the number of balanced, fair and consistent refereeing performances i've seen this season on one hand! -
I like how when you post on this thread Turkish, it comes up with "Definition of a 'Troll'" and your username underneath it. Rather apt methinks. PS: I went through Harrogate today. Thought you might want to know

Just back from the game now (it's a long old poke). It's easy to trot this out now after the game, but Newcastle have massively under-achieved this season and deserve to be a lot higher up the table. They made some really impressive signings in January with Sissoko, Gouffran and Yanga M'Biwa, and they've got a squad now that's good enough to be challenging for the Top 8. They were very effective and picked out the weaknesses in our side (mainly a lack of strength, which they have in abundance) and exploited them well. A few notes though. - We didn't play badly. On another day we could've easily picked up a point or possibly all 3 if we'd capitalised a bit more on our chances in the second half. - The referee was absolute dogsh!te, as were his officials. Completely inept and his mistakes cost us 2 goals (Cisse goal which wasn't a free-kick and was offside, and the penalty which was apparently dubious according to my mate watching at home). - Newcastle hit us on the counter with a ball over the top time and time again, and their strong, quick and tall players bossed our titchy defence about. - Full backs were dreadfully exposed and bossed physically. - Clear that we need better options off the bench. -

Ok, perhaps I expressed that wrong. It's no lie that their form recently has been bad and they're in danger of slipping closer to the relegation battle. We can take advantage of that.

It's not unfeasible to finish that high up, but I think we'll more likely finish 14th-16th. Teams like West Ham and Norwich are dropping down the table pretty quickly so if we carry on picking up points we could be a few places higher up by the end of March.
