I've always struggled with Premier League management, unless I have a stupidly good team. The players at the top level tend to be very overpowered and nigh on impossible to play against. I like career games where you start off low and build up to a decent standard - currently doing my local Tier 9 team. Going to see if I can get them up to the Football League - it'll be a hell of a slog though.

Surely we have to play Jay Rod wide if Guly is out? He's got good strength and can hopefully knock Rafael about a bit, wouldn't be a bad thing. Ramirez would be anonymous on the left against Rafael.

There isn't really a "simplest" way. You've got to persevere. There are a few walkthroughs and FAQs about installing the mod though. I've played Day Z and liked it, personally I will be waiting for the standalone game (currently in production).

I have a few problems with how you communicated that to me Spudgun. Firstly you seem very world weary - why? Secondly you seem to have little faith in your fellow man. Have you spent much time outside recently Spudgun? You should maybe take a few days off and go and do something you really want to do.

Doing some washing and tidying up then popping home overnight to see the folks. Going to the cinema to watch Django Unchained too which should be a laugh.

I also watched this the other day, thought it was good. Very OTT but that's what you want from a comic book movie isn't it? Good gore as well, would like to see that approach more in mainstream films rather than going for the 12A and max box. My one criticism of the film would be the under use of Wood Harris. He was fantastic in The Wire, perhaps instead of just following Dredd and Anderson about for the first 45 minutes of the film he could've had a bit of dialogue?

Think the first game I played properly was either Crash Bandicoot or Wipeout on the PS1. I remember watching my Dad play Duke Nukem and Tomb Raider at an early age too. When I was about 5 or 6 we got a SNES, that changed my life. I spent ages playing Mario Kart, perhaps too long! A few years after that came the N64, which really dragged me into the world of gaming. There were some absolutely sublime games for the N64, some of the best games of all time imo. Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, GoldenEye, Mario Kart 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Donkey Kong, Perfect Dark, a few Resident Evil games and the early incumbents of the FIFA series. I still play those games now, i've got an emulator on my laptop. I've played a few consoles since (Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) but imo nothing comes close to what the N64 did for gaming, especially in Platform titles.

Agree, they're a club on the up. If Martinez does leave Wigan soon I would put good money on him going there, he's got a soft spot for them and they've got a great chairman.
