I think that the fact that an unelected individual has around 300 prerogative powers (Parliament is not allowed to know what they are, although we do know they include the right to go to war in 2003, which Blair considered by using 'loaned' powers from the Queen), which will be passed down to her own unelected heir, is something that not only effects everybody in the U.K., but something we should aim to change. I have no problem with inherited wealth, but I believe that unchanging power in a not only undemocratic institution, but one that is not held to account, is not a healthy or proud position for a country to remain in.
