Isn't there a door to paint or something?
-
It's a bit weird, and all these girlfriend/wife analogies. He's a professional football coach who did well for us and in turn was offered a better job. That's it.

£160k a week, 5 year deal according to this. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2014/06/10/4871602/shaw-agrees-160000-a-week-manchester-united-deal?ICID=HP_BN_7

Why don't call MoPo now? GS, too obvious I guess ... Pooch it is
-
To be honest I think everyone realises a deal for Shaw is near. It's quite obvious, why some people act as if they are breaking news with "sources" is a bit weird really.
-
So when the season kicked off you expected 8th ... As a minimum position to finish. Glasgow Saint had a weird agenda against Pottechino, he's turned up again now and is "excited". I was just asking if his minimum of 8th place might be improved upon next season? With the "exciting new direction we're heading in. I've no idea about our squad next season and neither do you.
-
I do think there's a lot of emotive language flying around. And people reacting as if Pottechino has personally been disloyal or let them down. He's a professional football coach. The guy he trusted and sold him the job disappeared in Jan. Another, company with more resources offered him a bumper 5 year contract. What would you do?
-
So do you think we'll finish higher than 8th next season Glasgow without MoPo? Acoording to you 8th was minimum with "our" squad.

Hey Mr Viking, not sure it's available in Aberdeen yet, but there's this new invention called the internet. It's amazing apparently, it works on most computers too. It's like an online local newspaper with loads of info ... Check it out mate
-
So Saints' media dept are now manipulating the national press
-
The guy was just making a point on football forum ... Why the aggressive point scoring reply?
-
I do feel for some of the fans, but I have no sympathy for Cardiff City. And you could ask anyone in the media if they will miss Cardiff and their media dept.

I like this guy, look at the teams he's managed -

[TH]2002[/TH] Don Juan

[TH]2003[/TH] Sporty Boys

[TH]2004–2006[/TH] Colonel Bolognesi

[TH]2007[/TH] Sporting Cristal

[TH]2008–2009[/TH] Deportivo O'Higgins

[TH]2010[/TH] Sport yes Sport

[TH]2011–2012[/TH] Universidad de Chile

[TH]2012–[/TH] Chile (not Univsidad)

" you'll soon know what it's like to have your club ripped apart when half your squad and your manager leave in the summer and you end up relegated" ... I think we may have experienced this in the not so distant past. Funny you guys weren't complaining on promotion, it was all celebrations and pitch invasions?
-
Obviously not, I was replying to the OP, who has been critical of past owners/chairman, writing in such gushing and flowery prose. After a meeting with the new head guy ... It was half a joke ... Really can anyone explain how anyone can get to the heart of what makes the city click? Engaging communities? He hasn't met a few fans and I didn't talk about that, aside from that ...
-
I was thinking the same. He's obviously quite charismatic, and like Fitzhugh's books. But really, "A keenness to get to the heart of what makes the city click ... In what way? "He is desperate to engage the community" Ok? Seems a little vague. Oh, and also more British footballers will sign, those foreign chaps may be talented but don't know how the city ticks or something. He cut's an impressive figure though so no worries.
-
Why not email the club and ask what his duties are?
-
Jamie Jackson, I would trust that he has reported everything told to him verbatim. Whether someone's spinning something, I don't know but he's certainly well connected in Manchester and The Guardian wouldn't go so big headline wise without sources.
-
No offence mate, but are you saying that you have more insight and foresight than our current squad who clearly enjoy playing for the current manager. It's not really Football Manager 2014, or whatever game you play on your pc.
-
Who would you suggest as "our" next manager to improve on a 8th place finish? Taking into account, Lallana, Shaw etc have hinted their future depends on the current manager's position. What do you think is the best possible scenario for next season?
-
You really do have it in for "mopo" Have you ever thought life may be better not spending your life on a saints website constantly repeating the same thing ad nauseum? Just wondering cos is it's a bit weird.
-
Marshall definitely, though there will be competition. Caulker likewise, can see him going back to Spurs though.
