I used to hate Koeman for that goal (he should never have been on the pitch etc) and feel sorry for MoPo (it was a dive etc). But that was all twisted anyway. I have spent the last couple if weeks twisting it back (just in case RK turned out to be true). All bent out if shape now, but yes; RK looks to be an improved appointment compared to MP.

Finding it difficult to concentrate on really getting behind England in the World Cup whilst my future supporting is still yet to be resolved. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk -
The Echo - how much lower can they stoop?

This is normal journalese. They are called 'pars' and are used in most day to day reports in most papers and online. Pars is both 'short for paragraph' and itself a 'short paragraph'. Used in PR a lot as well as in journalism. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk -

I would describe the club badge on last seasons shirt as more of a dull gold than a rust colour. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk -

Just spotted a fat bloke in bright red jumper (might have been MoPo?), Glenn Hoddle and Kevin Keagan sharing a basket of chips in St.Marys car park. They got in a limo with the number plate "G104DNO". What could it all mean? Classic case of Love This Club to engineer a big money move? -
Come on The9! That's clearly less than one average sized shed's worth of shirts! ;-) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

I really liked it. 'Ramirez to Rodriguez" the commentary went; and I imagined a Saints shirt that was indeed all red but also had a stripe. Hurrah.

? My thoughts exactly.

Perhaps Lambert feels he can learn from Stevie G who always and without fail replicates his finest form at World Cups. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Lambert to Liverpool Shaw to Chelsea Lallana to Everton Clyne to Chelsea Rodriguez to Burnley Schneiderlin to Liverpool Wanyama to... ...Black Cats I mean, boyhood clubs n all that; it's simply not allowed in football to stop a move to a 'boyhood club'*. It's a tradition or an old charter or something. *(for managers the term is upgraded to 'spiritual home') Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Brendon Rogers one man assault to upset the England camp? Bloody foreigners. Etc. Does 'Suarez' count as one of the add-ons? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Finally, the kit our players will be wearing next season. Still no stripes of course; it's pretty much the same as last year, only this time manufactured by an odd American brand.

And I'm agreeing with Fry agreeing with Pap. Goodness, where will it all end? I like the cut of RKs jib. Its the off season and, as Saints, we all know that means, as per the old Chinese proverb, 'interesting times'. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

On other news, my mate WON! She is now the first Labour councilor in her ward for 12 years. Hurrah! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

My personal take on UKIPs success is that they appeal to the Lowest Common Denominator and are currently surfing a trend. Anything wildly popular often to become so by appealing to base desires and mob mentality without needing much depth. Personally I put UKIP in the same bracket as Justin Bieber, Crazy Frog, Planking, Neknominate, Tribal Tattoos and asking just what it is the fox says. Just because something is popular doesn't make it good, valuable or useful. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

I love it. So typical of this forum - we cannot even agree what the results mean! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

Not sure you're remembering that 100% correctly Hypo old chum!? Personally, I remember watching both inaugurations during the day?!?! (Unless you were out raving of course, in which case, cool beans and I'll go back to pedantry where I belong). Anyway; I too love the election all nighters so was disappointed with the lack of swing'o' meters and coloured maps etc last night. I mean, the beeb tried but even their heart wasn't in it. My mate is still waiting to see how many votes she got personally in the local elections - her first time standing - she says the turnout was lower than hoped (about 30% in 'Wokingham Without' council wards. ) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

AVE! I was sorely tempted. But then I thought; ''what have the Romans ever done for us?"

I take your point, certainly I do. My concern is that, whilst TTIP has some broad strokes that promote innovation and wealth creation, it also contains some dangerous back channels for the very largest corporations to avoid or overturn local legislation (in effect ignoring the law of the land, whatever land that happens to be). Maybe that ship has sailed - look at how big corps already work the tax system - but I shudder at the idea of giving them the veto over our legal system too.

The same Churchill that gassed the Kurds? Or is this the Churchill who gave up his parliamentary commission to go and fight in the trenches? Just want to know 'which' Churchill we are talking about! ;-) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

That's part of my point Sergei. The TTIP would only make things worse for those countries and others. Whilst all the PR and posturing concerns the movement of humans (immigration) the real meat n potatoes is the movement of money (trade agreements). Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

What on earth is that supposed to mean Pap?!? Or are you trying to invoke Godwin's law early in the day, so you can get on and do something more useful!? ;-) Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

The TTIP is the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. It aims to give increase free trade and 'open the boarders' to big business. It also comes packaged with a whole load of 'rights' for corps that mean they can avoid local legislation. This means your rights as a British citizen can be superseded by the TTIP. Anyone even slightly invested in social justice, or independently minded, should be abhorred by the propositions in the TTIP. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
