  1. That's what i was thinking, National Guard = Weekend Warrior
  2. I think you're on the windup, there is no way you can come to that conclusion from that footage, i agree the soundtrack can be manipulated but the pictures tell a story of gung-ho, blood thirsty idiots with no control.
  3. I feel a little unwell, i can't believe it, but for once SRS is 100% spot on! If the same mouthpieces collected money/shares/school vouchers on behalf of the ST then they need to be transparent about what happened with what they managed to collect.
  4. Buy this weeks Autocar, they're doing an article on half-price heroes, cars that are great value secondhand; might be helpful.
  5. Treme, starting on HBO on April 11 for all you downloaders, can't wait for it to become available in the UK, hopefully upto The Wire's standards! http://www.hbo.com/treme/index.html
  6. You are joking, i think she's a great actress and i'd love to ruin her.
  7. I was with you until you typed 'fashionable' at that point i realised you're just another slightly more 'street' happy-clapper. Now, if you provided a coach with a completely black interior, no lighting, uncomfortable seating, death metal and the threat of violence if you look like you're enjoying yourself i'd be right up for it
  8. With thanks to Lord Stephen Fry
  9. Although on the other side of the coin some numpty phoned 606 after the final asking why Rickie hadn't been called upto the England Squad:rolleyes:
  10. Mental or visionary? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/8543202.stm

  15. Any leftovers in a curry or risotto for me.
  16. Bread Sauce should be served with game and poultry. A little Mace makes all the difference;)
  17. I don't hate him, i don't think he's the best thing since slice bread either, someone who makes me laugh more often than not; but no Jimmy Carr. Oh and leave Jo Brand alone, one day i'll get her, Dawn French and myself into a hot-tub filled with butterscotch Angel Delight
  18. You should only have Yorkshire puddings with beef! And proper Yorkshire puddings are thick and stodgy not the airy, fairy risen to stupid heights ****ers everybody seems to cook these days! Oh and don't bother with the gravy unless its made with the roasting juices, it also should'nt be the viscosity of sick, more like light oil!!!!!!
  19. No it's not mine, that's my old season ticket location!
  20. Read the blurb, i tried but got a headache. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230451057921&fromMakeTrack=true#ht_662wt_1167
  21. Saddam Hussein?
  22. I'm not sure if he's man enough (remember he is 'In the Navy!') :smt050
  23. MV's are ok, you need the 1000 rather than the 750 as the 750 needs to be revved way too much, and at the end of the day they're both just Suzuki engines! Personally if it was my money and i wanted a bike i'd get a Ducati 1098r (which is apparently quicker than the Desmo in real world situations according to mates who own both) or a Bimota DB5. As for the car situation i havn't heard of many problems with the Boxster (especially engine faliures!) anything other than a classic car is going to lose value, how about an original E30 BMW M3, you'll get a nice one for £12k, if you look after it it won't lose value and parts are pretty much readily available. You can probably get classic insurance as well, if the old angle doesn't appeal how about a E46 M3.
  24. Have a read, posted on another forum! http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=44227
