Glastonbury have brought forward the 2012 Glastonbury to what would have been the off year of 2011 due to the Olympics. Apparently most of the equipment Glastonbury hires in is needed for the Olympics not to mention the hired in security bobs. Well that's what we've been told for the last 2 or 3 years.

In times of need i think we should ignore what's happened previously, bury the hatchet so to speak and offer the hand of friendship to our less well off fishy-friends down the road. I suggest a bucket collection before, during and after the match to scrape together some much needed funds for the blue few, hell we might raise enough to pay for the teams bus fare to and yes indeed from St.Mary's. Any other fund raising ideas?

Depends, i went last February (09) to stay with my brothers wife's family in Brasilia and Natal. It can be quite cheap for booze, cigarettes and food but clothing and other things are expensive. It's cheap if you stick to the local's places to eat and drink but once you start going to the tourist spot's it's quite expensive. The women however make much more of an effort that their UK counterparts! Beer should only be bought if between -2 & -5.6 degrees otherwise it gets too warm too quickly. The traffic is a joke and you will get runover if you don't keep your wits about you and overall it's like anywhere in europe but with an edge to it.
