Championship standard. We have by far the poorest defensive options in the league, Yoshida is a risky signing. His team conceded the most goals in the Dutch league last season and were 1 game from relegation. Shame Cortese and Adkins didn't do much to the defence in the transfer window as our attacking options are fine for this league.

So glad I never moved to the Itchen North this season. Looked awful over there today, majority sat down apart from the 4 back rows in Block 1.

So gutted. We have a really weak back line for this league, probably the weakest in the whole League.

Cortese hasn't walked away because this is his signing. If it was an Adkins target then he would have lost interest as soon as Bolonga started to play hard ball. It would have been a massive waste of time if he doesn't sign now, still not confident he will.

So many people on here got excited when they saw footage on him on YouTube when he signed. He has good pace but he can't cross and his decision making is very poor. I can see him going out on loan to a top half League One club/Championship relegation battler.

Played well until Wigan scored. Awful defending from Jos and Jose. Not seen the 2nd goal yet but Fonte seemed to slip under pressure. The defence is very weak for Premier League level. Atmosphere was awful. Outsung by Wigan fans. Jay Rod was terrible but I think that is down to the fact that Adkins wants to waste him out wide. This new formation is going to fail imo.

He will say something about how the chairman is working hard behind the scenes to try and get deals done and then that will be the end of the transfer talk.
