  1. Do people actually want them to die completely? I'm not bothered if the current club goes out of business, just as long as a new club is started by the fans so the rivalry between the two clubs can continue. Rivalry is a big part in Football and our one with the Skates is one of the best in England. The atmosphere at St. Mary's is always rocking when they come to town and you could feel the hatred in the air last time. Couldn't imagine anything like that with Bournemouth. I've been looking forward to the game in April since the fixtures were announced.
  2. Moaning about the Fit and Proper persons test yet again, didn't hear too many people moaning when Russian blood money helped them win the cup....
  3. According to a member on Pompey fans online we should hang our heads in shame for the attendance yesterday. Kids for a quid, cheap Sun tickets, 600 free tickets and still can't fill half of St. Mary's according to him.
  4. The conga is probably on the same level as the Lallana left and right wave our fans do in terms of cringeworthy ********.
  5. Professional performance by Saints. Something needs to be done about the atmosphere at St. Mary's though, it was terrible today.
  6. Bournemouth fans are probably hoping the best for Pompey.
  7. They're going to get away with it... again.
  8. http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=407077 I don't see how those retards can take digs at our attendances, how many did they get against Barnet earlier in the season?
  9. Conceding 3 goals to a Millwall side without their star striker is very poor. Worried about Saturday now, can't imagine that defence will change much other than Fox for Harding.
  10. 488 of that lot at St. Andrews tonight.
  11. Not heard those, only thing I can remember is that Simon Peach (works for PA) said that Sharp is on much less than the £27,000 Leicester offered him.
  12. What will happen if they go back into administration? Just another 10 point deduction?
  13. Time to take Lambert off free-kicks imo.
  14. Yeah I know he has attended every fixture since their first visit in the Carling Cup but I'm sure he was supposed to be banned for life for ****ing on the seat in 2003. Doubt our club would have the balls to stop him from going tbh, seem to remember last time he had around 10 stewards escorting him from his mini-bus to the ground.
  15. Am I right in thinking that Westwood got a ban from St. Mary's in their first visit at St. Mary's for ****ing on the seats? If so it would be nice if the club were to actually stick to the ban for the game in April but I highly doubt it will happen.
  16. He's blocked off, our players done similar in the 2nd half to their keeper (but their keeper didn't hit the deck) and the referee gave a foul both times.
  17. Respect the referee? Give us some referees to respect.
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16794210.stm It is believed that the two clubs have agreed a fee for the striker who now has to agree personal terms. So he isn't exactly set for Southampton if terms haven't been agreed.
  19. C'mon Saints, if you secure this signing then it will be a very successful transfer window.
  20. There have been so many deals that have fallen through since that Football Agent on Twitter said that football agents don't like dealing with Cortese....
  21. Last one I can remember is Brentford in 2005. 2-2 Draw at St. Mary's and then a 3-1 win at Griffin Park.
  22. Puncheon got boo'd when he first touched the ball by a small section of fans which was disappointing but I'd say overall the support for him was positive. We didn't play well today and were often found defending which was disappointing but it's only the cup. Felt we could have had a penalty for a foul on Lambert early in the 2nd half, be interesting if anyone else thought the same? Bartosz - Done well for the majority of the match but felt he could have done a bit better for the goal. 6/10. Richardson - Struggled with Feeney's pace at times so didn't get forward as much as he usually does in League games. 6/10. Martin - Man of the match for me, he was fantastic today. Very pleased with his performance. 9/10. Fox - Done well out of position, felt he was a bit wasted at CB but doubt Jaidi was fit enough to start. 7/10. Harding - Good cross for the ball but felt he was poor overall. 5/10. Puncheon - Did well, got stuck in and helped when we were defending. 7/10. Hammond - The usual Hammond type performance away from home, got stuck in and tried to pass the ball around, didn't get forward enough though imo. 6/10. Reeves - Good performance by him, was always getting stuck in and a wonder pass to Harding to set up the goal. 7/10. De Ridder - Didn't get much of the ball or many chances to run at his man which was disappointing. 6/10. Lambert - Held the ball up well, scored a good goal and tried to bring others into play. Good to see him back. 8/10. Barnard - Obviously lacking match fitness and it really showed today, tried his best but didn't really do much with the ball. 6/10. Lee - Didn't see much of him on the ball and he was often too far away from Lambert when we were attacking. Holmes - Should have killed the game off with the free header at the back post. Shaw - Didn't really do anything. Last note - Millwall's goal music is embarrassing.
  23. It was awful today, very disappointing.
  24. Did Cortese get asked about the big screens at St. Mary's? Seems like they've had it and in need of maintenance.
  25. It will be interesting if he keeps his word on that one as he said the exact same thing last season.
