I can only see a desperate club wanting Hoedt on loan late in the window so it would be a mistake for us to wait around before signing a CB imo. We know it's an area that needs improving, we conceded so many goals last season and dropped a ridiculous amount of points from winning positions - It would be a mistake and hold us back massively if we fail to strenghen this area ASAP.

Well you would just naturally assume that a footballer wants to play football which isn't going to happen here. Fair point about another club wanting Forster, that's why I think a loan deal is probably most likely. Try before you buy kind of thing. Who knows.

Best thing we can do is loan Forster out, even if we pay most of the wage. No club will buy him this summer but a loan could put him in the shop window for January/Next summer.

Why are you convinced about that? He looked awful when he played for us, his career prior to us basically said he would flop here. One of the worst signings the Premier League has ever seen for the money we spent on him.
