Which one is on Sky?
-
Well 2 of them were yesterday with misplaced passes I rate him nontheless FWIW
-
Couldn't believe we got away with that one - even though it looked like ball to hand [or elbow] not vice-versa. Still, made me think our luck is changing.

I'd agree with that. When 3 minutes extra time was announced, we cheered it louder than Charlton, and having got that far without conceding I really felt we would nick it. All our best chances seemed to come in the last 20 minutes [mind you, none of us could see much of any 1st half chances up the other end]. Because of that, I was disappointed that we didn't get the 3 points. Davis' 3 saves just before half-time were fantastic BTW.

They made them up doh!

Hmmm Comparing " the only mention of the club’s most successful ever manager in St Mary’s" with the colour of the wallpaper... good analogy -
Listening to the Skids to get in the mood - "Into the Valley" followed by "The Saints are Coming"

I see what you mean.

If you think Camden town is the nearest Wetherspoons to Waterloo, then you need to get yourself an A-Z .

Me and my son - Ryan Smith! People travelling up seem to hit the pubs round waterloo, but I might try the Anti-Gallican for a pre-match pint. Probably not going to be let in the Liberal Club this time round?

Sad but true  Alex Pearce is our only hope!

On Tuesday we had SIXTEEN corners and couldn't score a goal. That must be some kind of record? I hope Jan's got them practising set pieces today!

Woodward - Rupey's next 'Cost Effective' Addition?
Plumstead_Saint replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
:confused::confused: Prozone actually existed and was used by many managers/coaches before Woodward, and I seem to remember Bolton having nutritionist/fitness/sports science specialists some time before. I dare say other clubs had been dabbling in such things too. Where does this myth about SCW inventing all this stuff come from? His CV? -

Cork and Skacel crossing balls into the area. Nice! -
Mpenza will find that hard as he is not playing
-
Come on Saints! I reckon we'll be 1-0 winners in a scrappy game. Gutted if Surman will be missing at Charlton though

LOL = laughing out loud Woosh = the sound of something going over someone's head. Clearly this thread went over your head..and several others...meaning that you did not understand it. Perhaps if people actually read what was written, rather than just making a knee jerk reaction to what YOU THINK it is about, then others wouldn't feel the need to take the mickey. The original post was quite funny; others have continued the theme as a result of the "knee-jerks" - whether they have gone too far is a matter of taste. HTH

Alan Pardew has lost his job as Charlton manager

In their dreams. Phil Parkinson, previously assistant manager, will act as Charlton caretaker on Tuesday, and hopefully Saturday too. -
Perhaps you should reread the 1st post in this thread?

Fantastic result Had to work today, so oldest son sent me text updates on the score - I thought he was winding me up! Really glad we got tickets for Charlton now :) -
I LOLed!

Thanks for the link. Great bullet header by Pearce shame about the dodgy red card

Haven't we got enough loan players? Maybe some of them should actually play, or else return to their clubs first?
