  1. LOL There will be a few twists and turns before then, no doubt.
  2. Sorry mate - I can only see text commentary - sky or this link: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/commentary?id=243512&cc=5739&league=ENG.2
  3. I don't think it works like that.
  4. Yeeeesss! Told you Saga would score first
  5. Corner Saints by Surman - saga on deck, Perry shoots and misses. Swansea had ball? Not given.
  6. He's working - can't you tell?
  7. The money will come in handy.
  8. I know... "Luxembourg international Simon Jeellay" LOL Same bloke claimed Dyer is going to Swansea next week for 1/2 million, earlier. Is that confirmed?
  9. McG straight in there! Free kick
  10. Seeing as there isn't one! Come on Saints! Saga to score first
  11. I reckon we will go ahead......... .....and end up drawing
  12. Had to bump it back up
  13. team announced on OS: Southampton: Davis, James, Perry, Saeijs, Molyneux, Wotton, Gillett, Surman, Lallana, McGoldrick, Saganowski. Subs: Bialksowki, Lancashire, Schneiderlin, Euell, McLaggon. I'd have started Euell my self and left Wotton on the bench. Will it be 2 up in attack?
  14. Better than i had thought. Well done to those who made the effort.
  15. 2-2 Sadly I think we are going to go on a run of draws..... ....which will not be enough to keep us up
  16. TBH I only saw him play at first hand about 5 times, but each time he looked like one of only 2 or 3 players who actually gave a **** and tried their best. With variable results admittedly. Says more about our squad than him I suppose. Goodbye and Good luck Rudi, but any money saved is very welcome.
  17. Good luck Ed. Look forward to seeing you well and wearing your red tie on Sky soon
  18. You don't know that even happened. Or that it wasn't the result of a separate dispute Wilde had with a builder...or quarry! Why do you think elements of the article have been removed ? [and no longer come up on a google search] Have you ever known the Echo get their facts wrong before? I rest my case
  19. What a great thread! Didn't know the answers but enjoyed it non-the-less.
  20. Sorry, should have put some of these in so you would have realised I was not being serious. Mind you, we scored 28 goals in 24 games BD [before Dean] and only 8 in 11 games since, so maybe...
  21. Midfielder apparently. You're right - from the BBC, dated November 28th: "Saints have just appointed former dutch footabll player Dean Gorre as first team coach along side David Hockaday for day to day training of the squad at the st marys club. Mark Wotte and Stuart Henderson stay as youth team bosses." Seeing as Hockaday is on gardening leave I guess they didn't get on!
  22. Good points well made, and worth repeating IMO. Unlike the usual guff from the usual suspects that dominate this thread
  23. From the OS: "It has clicked between us," Gorré announced. "With Michael coming in, it means that I will continue to concentrate on the attacking play whilst he will now work on the defensive side of things."
  24. And Jason Euell. If not for his goal line clearance in the final minutes....
