That’s true, it does seem like we only sing songs other clubs have first. But we definitely used to sing more than just two. We’re basically just Norwich away from home these days b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nothing wrong with supporting the side but it's f*cking dull when it's literally just yellows, followed by OWTS, followed by yellows, followed by OWTS. I swear our support wasn't this bad in the past, we've gained numbers but lost any semblance of originality.
-
I'm hoping we have an away kit that has no yellow whatsoever on it so our fans don't just shout yellows every ten minutes at away games and think that constitutes atmosphere. Although i guess that'll just mean all they do is sing oh when the saints, over, and over, and over, and over instead.

How is it brilliant? We lost, and the reason Son got the penalty was because we left him unmarked in yards of space. Yes we've improved from the start of the season, but we're a long way off brilliant. Brilliant is the side that regularly beat teams above them. Also can we stop celebrating losing? It's so tinpot, and shows us up as being a small club with a small mindset. Personally i'm still massively f*cked off we threw that cup tie away. At 2-1 we should've closed ranks and seen it out.

Exactly how it should be, if you've got a sh*t view in part of the ground stick the away fans there. Surely that's what all clubs should be doing?
-
God our fans are saps, Spurs gave up one of the classic grounds in the country to replace it with a soulless mega structure that looks more like West Quay than a football ground, it was full of tourists holding megastore bags and utterly silent. Most of the Spurs fans i know hate the place. I'd prefer to have the Dell back than have wifi that worked. Football is already gentrified enough, why do people want to ruin it further?

You're not interested in ****ging scarlett johansson?

I'm interested in ****ging scarlett johansson, but that's not going to happen either.

That's going to be a lot of bingo cards that need printing

Don't drive it's a f*cking nightmare, especially midweek, and there's nowhere to park. if you have to drive park in Chingford and get the overground to White Hart Lane from there.
-
Of the first batch, assume they'll release the middle tier next.
-
So the sales are really slow despite the low criteria to get them, i'll be amazed if we sell out at this rate. So does this put to bed the arguments about need 9k allocations or expanding stadium size?

Skates at home of course Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's not for a want of trying, plenty of our lot have tried new songs but no one joins in

You’d guess they had an agreement in place before today. So I’d assume just over 5k at £10 a ticket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The most famous one for us would be Everton at highbury in '84 surely

I think we could add a first verse to this, Give us stripes for our club, Make them rainbow Give us stripes for our club, We say, Gives us stripes for our club, Make them rainbow. For the trans, bi and gay. We're inclusive We're inclusive We're inclusive But only in our way. Or how about one for the saints voice, Lads on the ****, Not on our watch. Not on our watch. Not on our watch. Lads on the ****, Not on our watch.

Because he scored a brace against the skates as a southampton boy at their dump, something most of us dream of doing i'd guess. Then again i didn't come up with so i don't know.
-
Danny Ings is the king of the scummers, Danny Ings is the king i say (I say) Danny Ings is the king of the scummers, Smashing pompey the southampton way. Although some of our saps are trying to ruin it with new words.
-
And yet still loads of our lot get it wrong and sing, "playing the southampton way", unless they're meaning to get it wrong to make it more noddy (which i wouldn't rule out).

We were very poor, now we're pretty good. What changed?
ericb replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Saints
We've hit a run of form in a league that's poorer than it has been in a while, during that period we played a Spurs side who were in disarray and looking very weak, a Chelsea side who'd struggled at home a lot this season and a number of teams in and about us in the relegation battle (the type of sides we'd already got good results against). Winning those game brought back confidence in the squad and players started performing more to their abilities and with less fear of mistakes. Combine that with our worst defender (in vestergaard) being dropped, our better keeper being brought in, and a back four being played in the right positions and we look a much better side. Plus of course we have Danny ings, who's in the best form of his life, and JWP who's suddenly understood how to play central midfield. For what it's worth we haven't actually turned into a very good side, we've turned into the side we should be, one that will most likely finish somewhere between 10th and 14th, and will have another dip in form at some point this season. The squad still needs signings to be a decent team, i just hope this run doesn't paper over the cracks so much that the club don't properly invest in fixing the obvious weaknesses. -
Sh*t draw. Spurs will go all out for it if it’s them. If it’s boro then we might rest players. Either way I see us losing it and being at home isn’t exactly a help either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You have to remember a good number of posters on here aren't from Southampton and simply don't get it. I'm pretty sure every Sotonian on here wants those c*nts at home. The opportunity to smash them twice in a season home and away is everything, and all proper Sotanians would be chomping at the bit for that.
