Not convinced he's a top flight player. At best I think lower half of the table but even then I think at this age he's a bit part. Best option for his career would be going on loan and hopefully improving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When you see videos like that you realise just how mental it is that we're taking players off a club that size, the premier league truly is a cancer to world football. By rights a club like them and Ajax should dwarf us in every aspect, but the money in our league has meant we can take their best players fairly easily.

So i called the ticket office this morning (to check the number of aways is correct on my ticket as they've screwed it up in the past) and the man at the end said cup away games will count for the Vitesse away leg. Couldn't give anymore details from that but i figured a few here would want to know that info.

Reckon this will be heavily over subscribed. I've been amazed how many people have crawled out the woodwork contacting me because I have a season ticket and plenty of aways. Pretty confident I'll get mine but I'm not in the mood personally to help part timers who want these games. Id rather help out non season ticket holders that do a lot of aways but are going to be unfairly left second. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is there a "saints" pub in harringay? I make most home and a fair few aways but midweeks can be a ***** at times so would be good to have somewhere to watch them close by Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Think all of mine have been mentioned already but just to list them again - Barry Horne vs Bolton Kenny Monkou vs Norwich Frannie Benali James Beattie against the skates in the league cup (first game against them in almost a decade and probably the most hate filled atmosphere i've ever experienced at St Mary's, **** load of old nasty faces around outside, them booing ted bates silence and then Beats puts it away to absolute ****ing bedlam in the crowd). Brett in the FA Cup semi. Lambert away to Millwall (promotion season) probably more too but the alcohol has dulled the memories down the years

I'd assume the Bournemouth game will be moved to TV as the media seem to think it's a derby, so with that and a cat a price I'll be amazed if we sell it out. Doesn't seem the most intelligent pricing that one. Last day at cat a makes sense, especially against a London club who'll almost certainly sell out their allocation. i was thinking of getting a load of black Chapel Ultras hoodies printed in a real angry looking germanic font. Couple that with some cargo shorts and black boots and we'll be the scourge of Europe

Of course the above is just a literary verse to sum up the talk in this thread and nothing more, mere satire of a situation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't normally respond to posts like these but if you don't understand fans complaints I feel sorry for you. As fans we're not born with a natural gift for the game we love, nor are we in jobs (on the whole) that can financially set us up for the rest of our lives by the age of 30. We aspire to bettering ourselves and yet don't forget the importance of community, loyalty and respectful ways of doing things. Ultimately there are a few professionals in the game, lambert for one, that understand this and understand we pay their wages. They understand that perceived anger is not in the fact someone has bettered themselves but in how they've done it. If I were to look back on my career and think I'd achieved it by sulking or acting like a child id be shocked. If I were to belittle those that couldn't have what I did and played up to them, well if be disgusted in myself. Of course that's not most footballers mentalities from a young age they're taught what they do is in some way special, when in fact they're not. They're just performers in an industry that pays wages without morality or soul. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Transfer update on Clyne, Schneiderlin and transfer priorities
ericb replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I'd much rather Morgan went to Man U than that plastic club for rich students, really hate Arsenal since moving to London and even prefer Spurs. Their support is much of what's wrong about modern football.
