Got a lot of time for Leicester, some good friends of mine are foxes fans and i've always enjoyed away days at their place. Also they're a very similar sized and type of club to us, just not had the good fortune to have the long term investment we've had (i know their owners are minted btw, they've just invested differently to ours). Also got a lot of time for both Pearson and Hammond, and will be good to see them back, even if i do wonder if they're out of their depth in the premier league (those two that is no Leicester). As for the game normally in games like this i'd be ****ting a brick and expecting us to slip up, but i really can't see anything other than a home win here and maybe even a big score if we get one early.

Being London based and having used up most of my holiday i can't see myself making this. Proper gutted to be fair as i've not been to Bramall Lane and those prices are spot on.

Been to nearly all of the premier league grounds now and have to say that list is ********, not wanting to big us up for the sake of it but i'd honestly put us top five from what i've experienced. Spurs/Liverpool/Man U and Arsenal are all well known by their fans for being ****ing terrible atmospheres, and a lot of the geordies i know think it's gone to **** at theirs too. Swansea i agree is quality, and West Brom on their day can make a racket. Don't buy into the love in with Palace either, their "Ultras" are ****ing embarrassment and last two times we've been there we've easily outsung them (it seemed to just be about 20-30 spotty nigels from what i could see).

And on we go. Not the best performance i've seen from us this season and Pelle was actually a little wasteful in places. Credit to Hull though their midfield was one of the few i've seen that have actually competed all game with ours. Wanyama was a beast again today, by no means the prettiest or most technically talented of footballers but the guy is such a unit he can get away with it. Also thought both Toby and Fonte were monsters in defence. 2nd in the league 22pts, +17 goal difference and only conceded 5 goals and it's the start of November. If you'd told me that would be the case in the summer i'd have told you were certifiable! Great stuff.

Wouldn't be surprised to see us take in the region of 3500 to be fair, but i think 5k on a tuesday night is probably a step too far. Particularly so close to xmas. If the game had been a saturday we'd have sold the 5k easily in my opinion. Also those Sheffield United fans seem like a decent bunch on their forum, always had a lot of time for Blades fans who i've met. Sound bunch and make a ****ing racket at times too. Only complaint there is that there's one on their too that seems to think we're the skates and have ****ed over people when we were in admin, guess the skates have been trying to spread that myth around along with all their others.

In his history of watching saints play he's used to us not going on long winning runs and knows that at some point a draw may happen. Therefore he believes that the team are "due a draw". For any normal non autistic person this is a pretty easy thing to understand, in your case it'll be hard or maybe even impossible to grasp so if i were you'd i'd not say too much more and you can pretend to be a normal human being for once. Yup something like that, i've played football on a few of them too. Though when we were playing there they normally have a few that roped up and only for the first team, and they make money by renting the rest out to clubs in the amateur leagues.

They're a small side who've been through massive amounts of financial hardship in their time, they're finally starting to come having found a manager who's a perfect fit. Surely that's a reason to want them to do well? Put it this way if it's Orient or Yeovil say we'd all be really pleased for them and be wanting them to come up, the fact they're a south coast side only makes it better.

Jesus can we stop calling the Bompey, their a decent club, it's not a derby, it's not a rivalry and wish them all the best (and think their win on saturday was a great result made even better by being away from home). Calling them Bompey is small time and embarrassing, almost as bad as a very small percentage of them calling us Scummers because they don't have a proper rival and think we fit the part. Would love to see them make the play offs or even automatic spots, it would be great to have them in the premier league, and we should be talking them up and giving credit to Howe for what a brilliant job he's doing. Also them doing well gives Boruc confidence, so if we need him due to an injury he'll be in good form.

I tend to find the Guardian coverage of saints fairly poor to be honest, though as you say the do have some great football journos. The Telegraph tends to be the best for most sport, there's not a paper i've found that can hold a candle to their coverage of cricket for example
