So what? It's football, he's on publicly facing social media and i'm pretty sure he's heard swear words before. Sometimes our fans come across way to ****ing nicely, nicely just wanting to be accepting by everyone and not hurting their feelings. Personally i've got no problem with a few having a bit of balls and showing that even if the clubs across as walk overs we won't forget so easily.

Don't be so ****ing precious, if Lovern hadn't acted like a prize **** first people wouldn't be slating him, i'm sure his brother can deal with it and maybe learn from it himself.
-
Not sure i could put it better myself

That's quality

One that caught my eye is the unnamed premier league club building a brand new 50,000 seater stadium for 400m

A lot of people said that Paul Wooton was better than Morgan Schneiderlin for a lot of the same reasons people are saying JWP isn't that special here. But then a remarkable amount of our support know remarkably little about football (and spotting a good player). JWP is a very, very good player in the making and people like Gary Neville would not have compared him to a young Paul Scholes for no reason. Not to say he'll get to that level but he is far better than a lot think

I know his family and my sister was in his year at school, nice lad and definitely a saints fan.

There's no way we'll better last season, in my opinion the top 6/7 will pull away from the rest as they've been quietly hovering up the talent from the chasing pack. My guess would be we'll be very similar to West Ham last season, a bit of a flirt with relegation but ultimately never really in the race. This won't be down to our quality though, much more because the rest of the league is fairly poor again.

I used to live next to Chaplins, wasn't a terrible place at all (though prior to that i'd lived in Bevois Valley so it might be relative). From what i remember of Bournemouth though it wasn't the best place to drink in the summer. Old Christchurch road was full of stag/hen parties and for anywhere decent you had to take a fair old walk. Did like Smoking Aces (whisky bar near the triangle) but if you're getting the last train back to southampton you'll never make it over from Boscombe to there and back in time.

I believe the figures they used was a median figure based on the various price ranges. Clubs like us and swansea will normally come out higher in these as there's less variation between top and bottom, whereas clubs like City and Man U have much higher and lower priced tickets. Obviously this is all relative but the simple fact is that football across the board is way too expensive for what it is and arguing about who's the most expensive is a bit like arguing which country it's worse to have caught ebola from.

God that season was ****, i knew people who literally didn't see a win all season. Come a long ****ing way from there to be fair!

Not a hope in hell of that happening! God how i wish the bar could be run by Sharpes so we could could get Doombar at half time.

Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m

They'd take an advert out in a muslim paper talking about how they'd tested their new beer on prisoners in Guantanamo against their will? -

F.uck him, did it the wrong way and now his PR team want to try and make up for it. Too late for me, should've gone about it right in the first place. -
It's still my favourite example of how little people on here know about football
-
Pfft he's no Paul Wooton though is he?

I actually agree with your argument but you're even starting to turn me off it with your boring, over the top, autistic claims. I might not like nor want GSTQ as a national anthem, and i might not like the monarchy nor believe in god, but i'm not so arrogant as to patronise people with lines like "taking sides". Seriously mush wind your neck in, you're making a bit of a din of yourself!
-
Was that the same war where a member of the royal family had to be put out to pasture because he was openly supporting Hitler?
-
Lol at the irony of someone not understanding that ISIS is closer aligned to the monarchy (leadership and power defined by religious choice and with no democratic process) than to republicanism. Bloody dirge of an anthem it is and i'd never be seen dead singing it as i don't believe in either the monarchy or god.
-
Not often i say it but i agree with aspergers one, there's a handful of our squad who definitely wouldn't look out of place in Champions League teams, hence the current raping we're getting
-
That Neil Ruddock one was still one of the most mental celebrations i can remember at the dell, pretty much guaranteed us staying up that season (after a fairly grim few months too)
-
Le Tiss for me, just for the way he did it. As great as Lambert was Le Tiss' did it for far longer and (for me at least) with more style and panache.
-
i'd personally much rather we spent money on the academy and training ground than players in the here and now. It's that short term thinking that got the skates where they are now!
-
So that's the most geeky and terrible article written on a non event I've seen in a while

Not sure how people cannot feel happy for the fella, an absolute legend to Saints and for a generation he's the modern day Le Tiss. The simple fact that he's finally got to play for HIS team and move home (at the age of 32) is boy's own stuff and i really think us as saints fans should be happy for him. Any ire we have should be aimed at the board for their lack of ambition and letting MP go. Not aimed towards a player that has almost single handedly got us promoted from League One.
