Been a few to be honest, Dellhurst for the day, the drinking session and being in covent garden at about three in the morning and suddenly hearing OWTS being sung. The JPT just because it was a celebration of having a football club, 55,000 saints in london, saints fans ****ing everywhere taking over pubs in the tubes in soho when we trying to get food, just pure happy madness all day. Derby away in the play offs for the atmosphere at the game and how close we came to doing it, the rain after and not getting in till four the next morning when i had work that day almost didn't matter. I woke up proud to be a saints fan that day. The cup final run in particular the Semi and taking over the Cap N Gown, getting into a ridiculous queue in the bar at the back and getting rounds of 16 drinks in cause we couldn't be arsed to wait a second time. The cup final itself... great before the game, made ourselves proud as fans during the game, all i know after is i got home somehow. I'm sure there are loads of London aways i'm missing too but i'm too old to be expected to remember them all, and besides London aways are normally drink fueled mayhem followed by an inevitable run for the last train from Waterloo or a night on the platform. Happy days.

couldn't agree more with you tommy since when has foul and abusive language ever had a place in a football ground. I've been going since the 80's and have never heard it. Shocking to think we might be getting a reputation for it at away games. What is the world coming to.

I'm also on the hunt for a ticket, i'm london based so this is a nice close one for me just didn't get my act together in time stupidly

Saw a little bit of abuse of stewards at the whu game and there was a tiny scuffle outside the ground, nothing particularly major though and if anything gives our fans a bit more of an edge which is no bad thing if you ask me. Much rather have ****ed up lads than people sitting on their hands or doing a day trip (and no i'm not condoning violence just think football is better when you're not behaving yourself)

Um he came across as a needy nerd and not funny in the slightest. Add in the WUM and that whole thread is really ****ing embarrassing. Still i know who'd rather go out on the **** with, and it's not the trekkie.

I was thinking if it's only minus ten we might get the chance to repay them for their cheating at West Brom to send us down, seeing as we have conventry last game wouldn't it be great to loan cov barnard and then depending on our situation throw the last game of the season against them?

Roger Milford, what a ****.

To be fair if their forum is anything to go by then they're not the brightest people are they? This quote beggars belief,
-
Does that not help HMRC then? Since they can't justify admin if there are no serious parties right? In which case the only option is liquidation.

I've been saying for a while Lambert reminds me of Sheringham. This season his game has changed to be about bringing other players in as much as scoring, and his ability to create space for himself is superb. I just hope it means he can keep going as long as Sheringham did since i'm coming more and more of the opinion he'll be good for 10-15 goals if we make the prem.

Aren't you the same one that was giving it out the fenian **** on the Hooper thread? Sounds to me like you're the one who's got their issues wrong. What was said was racist bull****. Personally i'd pull the person up on it at the time (as i have in the past), but then i'm a youngish bloke and not to worried about these things, can totally understand why some others wouldn't though and fair play to them that's their choice. There's no ****ing place for that in Southampton if you ask me, i mean i spent most of my life in st mary's and i know my asian and black mates would've gone ****ing nuts if they'd heard it. Just one stupid racist **** is one to many for me and we should all stand up to them however we feel we can.

I'm looking for one too if anyone knows of any?

Personally i'd like to see one of their lot challenge it in court, they've got enough unemployed pikies to legal funding so it'll be cheaper for them. I'm of the opinion the bubble was a ****ing disgrace and damaged what's normally one of the best away days we have. Of course i'm not surprised a lot of the internet geeks we had on here thought it was a success as they probably bingo bus it anyway. I'd love to see the uproar if they were forced to go by train instead, it's a bit different when it's your preferred means that's taken out the equation.

Absolute ****ing din's that should wind their necks in. I'd be amazed if these were the ones there at our lowest ebb of swindon away in league one.
-
I've always liked Puncheon and supported him right through. Personally i've gone on record as saying he's had a hard time for no reason and when he hit **** form we jumped on his back instead of supporting him. The main problem is a lot of our fans actually don't know very much about football and prefer to jump on bandwagons tabloid press style.

Posted this in the skate thread but it might get lost there (plus i wanted to change it a little). To the tune of Merry Christmas everyone, Fratton's falling all around you, Harry Redknapp's getting done. Assets frozen, team collapsing, going bankrupt, Pompey scum.

Snow is falling all around you, Harry Redknapp's getting done. Assets frozen, team collapsing, going bankrupt, pompey scum.

The jam one would be cool as ****, different and sound ****ing awesome. The problem is that a lot of the younger lot wouldn't know it. Might take a ****ed up group of our older lot starting it at an away game to get it going.
-
Yup that's how i remember it too, and as people have said the end of season pitch invasion was a good tradition

David Cameron mentions Saints v Pompey rivalry in the house today.

So a vote for the tories is a vote for pompey is it? Oh well guess we just need to say **** you to the tories then -
The 5th Round Draw - Bolton at home (if we beat Millwall!)

One of my favourite memories of the Dell that, especially since plenty had already started to leave the Milton thinking it wasn't going to happen. -
The 5th Round Draw - Bolton at home (if we beat Millwall!)
ericb replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
One thing about that draw (if we beat Millwall) is that it'll be a really good test of if we're actually ready for the premiership or not. Since teams like Bolton will be those we'll be expecting to beat if we do go up. -
Dammit people got here before me with the pointing out the ****ing obvious! But yeah Guly's not reliable at all, it's not like he's our second highest scorer or anything right......

Pompey at home- something a bit special
ericb replied to forever a red and white's topic in The Saints
yeah and jesters hats as well, they'll **** themselves when they see us all done up in jesters hats waving red and white balloons at them -
Always thought he was a good player and have defended him on here many a time, personally i thought part of his problems was the lack of football knowledge from a few of our fans. Mind you on the downside i'll now get to listen to the din' next to me talking **** about puncheon again, great. Still i might just try the point out to him he's talking **** thing i did with Guly (and he shut up about him).
