But do the limits the trust have put on various payments mean that they have matched or exceeded the current proposed CVA?
-
But is it not the case that he does not own the stadium he only has a charge against it.
-
I am not sure he has. After all why did he attempt to bribe the court to put AA in charge? If, and it is a fairly big if, Birch has done water tight compromise deals against all the future parachute payments and that birch's hand will be the first in the till for his fee's on liquidation after everything including the ground is sold then chinny could be well and truly stuffed.
-
Have you checked the obituaries page?
-
If the statement that just about all the remaining parachute payments have been used towards the compromise agreements there is little point in chinny buying them and keeping them alive is there?
-
Can't wait for the conversation between the trust and the FA/FL. "Our business plan relies on an upper limit for paying football creditors so we will not be able to pay our football debts in full. Is that okay?" .........

A sponsorship deal that means not only do they not have to modify the stands and risk bringing them down in a pile of rust but also they can use last years shirts from the club shop as long as they can find someone to sew on the league 1 badge. One suspects it did not cost jobsite very much at all.

I read that for a second as the Victor Meldrew Bar. Probably more appropriate now as well.
-
I know. Just love the semantic juggling from Birch.
-
Its not coming out of the parachute payments, its coming out of the bank account the payments are paid into?!
-
Surely the 56.2 rule: '56.2 A Club may only register a Non-Contract Player (subject to the provisions of Regulation 41.5) during a Closed Period if he is an Unemployed Player.' means he can't be registered as a non-contract player as he is not an unemployed player he is an employed coach and as you say surely the embargo means he can't sign a playing contract?
-
I thought that was a worse than usual DFS advert before the real video.
-
Doesn't Westwood have a full-time contract with them for coaching? How can he play for them on a non contract basis when he is contracted to them full time already? Anyone know the small print of the rules? If it says "The player cannot have a contract with the club" then surely they can't play him unless it explicitly states that that refers only to being a player and not any other role which, I would have thought, was unlikely.
-
Well Rio, you are stuffed now arn't you? Don't think people will be impressed with your likely attempt to out do London with a theatrical representation of the deforestation of the amazon amid a large carnival re-enactment of pre olympic slum clearance.
-
Indeed, If I was a dodgy east european with money that needed 'recycling' I would buy another club whilst the FL's attention was on pompey.
-
One assumes that the PKF fee would come out of the just arrived parachute payments rather than being paid directly from their trust (though this would probably put more holes below the waterline on their financial 'plan').
-
My opinion is that chinny is bluffing on walking away and if Birch refuses to budge on the fees chiny will still proceed, put even less, if that is possible, into the club and then blame birch and co for taking the money that could have made them contenders rather than no-hopers.
-
If they are liquidated who get's their money first, Chainrai or PKF?
-
Corrected it for him.

Glad to see others have noticed: http://www.footandball.net/tal-ben-haim-a-convenient-scapegoat-for-portsmouth/3274/

Anyone got a link to a picture of those placards describing Chainrai in slightly unflattering terms.
-
My fiver has definitely gone as well and currently says i am just registered.

I thought his company that owned those had gone into admin and they were trying to sell the land. Maybe the council will spare the trust a bit more to buy that as well?
