What's the betting that the actual number of staff for CSI excluding is subsidiaries is very small and that they are fully up to date on all their tax payments to HMRC to make sure they are not an official creditor?
-
Created on the 22nd, Registered on the 24th, CSI go into admin days later. Obviously nothing fishy or smelly there.. ..edit.. I believe they CSI was put into admin on the 25th but it did not come out for a while so that makes it the day after this was registered? ..edit.. Yep definitely the 25th so the day after the charge was registered. "On the 25th of November 2011 my partner at UHY Hacker Young Andrew Andronikou and I were appointed as Joint Administrators to Convers Sports Initiative plc (CSI),"

Sure he is just doing the decent journalist (may be some left) thing and protecting his sources!

By coincidence I believe pompey have their own website, called "Just Taking"

Usually works for me. Basically you need an Amp or more specifically one called an AV receiver (Amp usually referring to the stereo ones you connect to your CD player) that decodes the surround sound and powers the speakers. For that you can't go too far wrong with either an Onkyo or a Sony. e.g. http://www.richersounds.com/product/av-receivers/onkyo/txsr309/onky-txsr309-blk http://www.richersounds.com/product/av-receivers/sony/strdh510/sony-strdh510 But these may not be future proof in terms of if you ever want to go to 3D for example. If you want one that can pass through 3D you may have to get a more expensive model. For speakers people such a richer sounds have quite a range in the 100 to 200 pound bracket. At the time I got mine I went for just about the cheapest which are yamaha ones and are fine. You can obviously look online for reviews of possible ones. Alternatively you can get packages such as this one: http://www.richersounds.com/product/1-box-home-cinema-systems/lg/sr906/lg-sr906 that include both an amp and speakers but as ever you usually get what you pay for. If you want to go to 7.1 surround instead of 5.1 (some blurays have 7.1 and its generally closer to the original cinema sound mix) you will have to usually buy a couple of extra speakers as most sets are only 5.1. In that case consider getting some better quality speakers for the front left and right as generally most sound will come from them.

Report on the start of HMRC's court battle against the football creditors rule http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2068074/Football-League-court-battle-HM-Revenue-Customs-debt-rule.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Coincidentally no parachute payments either... Also is it not the case that not paying football debts basically gets you thrown out the league where as points deductions are for going into admin no matter what level of football debts?

What happened to spyker cars? They still have their CEO on the structure page but it's not listed on the companies page? Also according to that website: So they do not really do anything but buy up some or all of other companies so I am not sure exactly what AA in administering if those subsidiarity companies are not affected by the administration?

As there is both a Lithuanian and Latvian bank involved will the two countries be in a bit of a competition to get at the assets? Both one assumes will be looking to claw back as much as they can to cover the losses for closing each bank. Does anyone know what happens when bank A in country B owns bank C in country D? does the fact that the main bank was in B mean its up to them to try and get back the money or can country D go after it as well. There was a story about the Latvians seizing the cars and house in Latvia but could they look further afield?

I was under the impression that Convers Sports was sort of the holding company with all these other companies as subsidiaries? Which parts of CSI does this administration affect if any?

I watched the feed when the other journalists were on but had to stop watching for McMullan as I can't stand comedy based on watching someone being embarrassing without them realising. Followed it on the guardian blog instead and if he does not find himself face down in a river soon I will be surprised. Here's a round up of McMullan's evidence • Former NoW deputy features editor brands Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks 'the scum of journalism'. • Paul McMullan: hacking Milly Dowler's phone was "not a bad thing" • He says Coulson and Brooks knew about hacking • Privacy is for paedos says McMullan • Car chases when Diana was alive was "such great fun"

Very interesting session today from different ends of the spectrum. First up was the ex Daily Star journalist about how they just made up stories and had to follow a particular line (Most people realise that that was the case but a lot more forceful when one of the perpetrators confirms it). Also good that they went through the Star's denial and he explained in some detail why each accusation was false. After that Nick Davis of the guardian explaining the number of confirming sources he got for everything he published and generally giving a masterclass in how a good journalist should work. The afternoon could prove the light relief with Paul McMullan taking the stand.

Anyone know what is special about today then?

I assume we are talking both the speakers and a suitable amp as well? Just gaming or watching films as well? How futureproof do you want to be, e.g. do you want to go for say 7.1 surround or a 3D compatible amp ?

Something that made me laugh was a tweet I saw recently saying that many people who call themselves Christian treat the bible the same way as the licence agreement on software, i.e. they scroll to the end and agree without actually reading it.

Our son went to a C of E school, good reputation, regularly over subscribed. Then the head left and they got in someone more religiously minded and loads of people have taken their children out and put them in other schools as they are finding the religious aspect OTT. Luckily our son left last year so only caught the start. All down to the overly religious governors who wanted that sort of head without considering what the parents might want.
