Surrender so soon Dune. You must be slacking.

Pity we don't have a fairer voting system isn't it?
-
I always find it comical that the only way that UKIP win parliamentary seats is in the European election which is an election they don't want to happen using a voting system most of them disagree with. At least the greens managed one UK parliament seat which is something that appears to be well beyond ukip.

I am not talking about the daily express petition I am commenting that the strength of feeling on this issue across the country appeared to only bring out about 50 people to campaign in favour of the issue, half bussed up from the west country by the look of it, and they probably combined it with a sight seeing tour.

Gosh, literally 10's of people protesting.

The things to look for are: Capacitive touch screen: Most of the cheap ones are resistive which are not as sensitive and can be a pain to use. Memory size: The memory that the OS has to run in. Many cheap pads have only 256mb which can make some apps run slow. Need at least 512 really. Personally I would wait a bit as within the next month the new version of android (Ice Cream Sandwich a.k.a. Android 4.0) will be made available by google to the world. Soon after all these cheap tablet makers using the last open phone version of android will try porting ICS to their tablets and these will offer a better tablet experience than the current cheap tabs.

Yes these big soulless stadium reduce the influence of the home fans, after all just look at the comparative recent home records between SMS and FP... or maybe not.

Back to the court case with HMRC chasing the money from transfers. If they have lost the case against Storrie would they be doing this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/8849216/Football-Association-ordered-to-open-its-books-as-tax-man-launches-new-clampdown-on-agents-fees.html

Lucky really that Cameron and co appear to be trying to head that off by making us a very unattractive country to come to then!

Open office should open them I think. Google and install..

Maypole probably a good bet as they have two sky boxes (http://www.maypolefreehouse.co.uk/Welcome.html). Just don't drink too many of their cocktails if we win.
-
I would try Kings Street or the centre. Most with sky have a board outside showing which matches. With Norwich being on at the same time you probably need to find one with multiple screen. I may go out for a wander round Cambridge this afternoon so can have a look while I am out.

To be honest the current deal is really too generous. Point me at another investment that can return 15% tax free per annum guaranteed for 25 years? As the cost of the components comes down that figure will increase so not really surprised that it will be cut.

name calling is always the first line of defence for some when they are losing an argument I find. To clarify I would like the earths climate to return to what it would be had humans not pumped billions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. I am not implying that the temperature of the earth should remain constant but it would be good to get the line of temperature against solar power back to how it was before the 1980's (see the graph I posted above).
-
You appear to be the climate change nutjob here but in answer to your question the answer is yes till we get back to where we would have been without man's interference and then global temperature stability once there.

Actually the recommended depth for loft insulation has gone up considerably over the years so you could possibly do with adding some. This stuff at B&Q is subsidised so is only £3 a roll and most houses only need 5 or 6 so does not take long to pay back. http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=11127503&fh_location=//catalog01/en_GB/categories%3C{9372016}/categories%3C{9372050}/categories%3C{9372230}/specificationsProductType=triple_roll
-
Personally: Installed solar panel New energy efficient boiler with special external temperature sensor for improved efficiency Just finished adding 200mm to loft insulation (really dirt cheap subsidised rolls at B&Q at the moment) Reduced car use and cycle when possible Double glazing installed (can't do cavity insulation as old house so no cavity)

You would rather be in favour of the right wing/business lobby who are using all the methods they can to try and nay-say the science because trying to save the planet by doing something about it will interfere with their profit margins?
-
Yes I know climate change has happened in the past, e.g. various ice ages, what is being discussed is the current rapid change in the earths temperature and the major contribution to that from all reliable evidence is down to the green house gases we produce.
-
Another example of provable misinformation from a climate skeptic: Wonder if those arguing against climate change are readers of the Telegraph, Mail or Express who like to rely on Lawson to back up their position. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2011/oct/21/lord-lawson-global-warming-errors

So do you have any PROOF that we are not having THAT much of an effect on the warming of the planet? Show me any proof that the rise in global temperatures in linked to anything other than human activity and I will listen to you but at the moment it appears to me that people are wilfully disbelieving human generated global warming as they don't want the change to their lives that having to try and reduce our impact on the planet will bring.
-
Both are true. The overall temperature is going up as the graph on the BBC link shows. However this increase is then affecting the climate so that the usual seasons are being affected, e.g. colder winters or drier hotter summers. So global warming is the driving engine behind the climate change.
