  1. Luckily the government have changed the rules so you can't be forced to retire at 65 so they have got a few more years of Kanu yet!
  2. Peterborough win for me. Yes if we keep on winning it will be irrelevant but its unlikely we will win all the remaining games this season it does become relevant. Even if we, heaven forbid, lose tomorrow I think a Peterborough win gives us more chance in the long run of finishing 2nd.

    Census

Can you move things with the power of your mind then? Anyway Jedi is more of a rank than a religion. Putting Jedi down makes about as much sense as putting your religion down as 'bishop'.
  4. Reading playing second to bottom preston on tuesday. Also Reading playing 7th place notts forest on saturday so whatever the result of that match its at least one more point pompey would have to make up to get into the playoffs. Plus Reading have a GD of +20 compared to 0 for pompey.
  5. +1 on that. Plus lots of user provided support online so you can install just about any unix software on them. Got mine running CVS version control for some development work I am doing. They are a bit more expensive than other NAS boxes but you get what you pay for.
  6. Not to mention a 10 better goal difference compared to Posh and a 12 better goal difference compared to uddersfield.
  7. Hopefully they will be able to recover to get another draw in this one: Saturday, 9 April 2011 Huddersfield v Peterborough, 15:00
  8. Does not look like he is looking at all!
  9. They will all be taking their cheques to the bank and wondering why they are signed by a Ms April Fool.
  10. I think some one needs to change the topic on this thread to "Does anyone hate their boss more than they hate other posters on this thread" as to the original question the answer is no and yes. Do I hate my boss as a person? No Do I hate her due to her almost obsessive compulsive addiction to applying every rule and regulation in the book and her over reaction to the seriousness of every conceivable transgression such that I am currently having to appeal against a final written warning? Yes
  11. One thing we do learn from the article is that the new company is so grown up compared to the old company its even been allowed its own bank account.
  12. "Yes, my client will confirm for the 20th time that the item of evidence is a brown paper envelope..."
  13. Can't see the PL being overjoyed at the possibility of their return. If it starts looking possible expect there to be 'emergencies' that require their loan players to return to their parent clubs, etc.
  14. Though having been in a student house with a strict music rotational policy they all pale compared to "popular" Christian rock bands. Thank goodness for the balance that the stranglers brought.
  15. Just makes me glad the birdie song came out before music videos became popular!
  16. I thought the main test of the FAPPT was that the person had not been banned from being a company director or something like that. Fairly easy test to pass for a fictional character. I am sure vordemort would pass with flying colours as well.

    Saints on sky

Planning ahead to next season already??
  18. QPR's problem: fielding a player that was ineligible to play. Pompeys problem: for cost reasons not fielding player(s) who are eligible to play.
  19. or 3) Insure the parts you own for as much as possible and then be surprised when they all burn down (though rust does not burn well) on the same day?
  20. I think destiny dictates that they have to stagger on till we get to 50,000 posts and 1000 pages on this thread.

    The BBCC

Its probably the downmarket sky rip off.

    The BBCC

How about feasible and affordable? Not to mention why 95% of the majority of the population should pay the expense of implementing it just so the 5% or less of demented right wingers can feel a warm glow inside for not paying for the communist BBC.

    The BBCC

I am not interested in how Murdoch implements his system I want to know how you think the BBC can restrict access to their TV and radio channels and their website to only those people who have paid their licence? Should they pay to replace every TV and set top box in the country? Basically it is impossible to implement but don't let that stop you going on about it.

    The BBCC

I think you are referring to the two extremes of the argument as opposed the silent majority who are happy with the bbc but don't feel the need to get into a slanging match about it.
