What's the betting that Tac-tics had one lucky guess with Lambert and is now milking it?
-
That is odd. So will you not be supporting Mellis then? If yes does that mean you'll boo him or will you just refuse to cheer? Sorry for the confusion.
-
It says on the OS that the club have just received confirmation from the League that Mellis can play tomorrow, so that's probably the reason for the delay in putting the story up, rather than it being another potential signing being close.
-
It has been. Booooooooooooooo
-
And he is in the squad for tomorrow.
-
Only if the deal hasn't been concluded yet. If it was signed before midday it'll be fine.
-
I'd also like to join the "dreaming" group please. I'm not a feeler at the moment.
-
Why did they feel the need to make the whole of the Chapel the family enclosure anyway? Was the old one constantly sold out? :s

Saints given a 3rd allocation of tickets for swindon

Bought my tickets last night online... not used this system before. No idea if it'll work or if they'll just take my money and 'forget' about my order. Hmmm. -
If he goes we need to buy 2 more strikers then. ****.
-
I've got Aldershot, Bracknell, Yateley, you know... Winnersh
-
Anyone on here been to their ground before? Anywhere obvious and safe to park nearby?
-
It's amazing how some fans haven't realised we're in League 1 now. Premiership we aint. I'm afraid the signing of John Terry or Rio Ferdinand is unlikely.
-
Hmm, yeah that could be it. Probably not though.
-
No it's not his work rate which people appreciate, it's his tackling and range of passing imo. Although his work rate is also a plus point! And he's 23 now, hardly a 'youngster' in the footballing sense of the term.
-
Well it's still early days but I agree it's surprising that he hasn't featured. He'd do very well in this league, and I do feel that without him in the middle we are a much, much weaker outfit.
-
It's alright apparently George has said in the next game he'll play Darren Fletcher at right back, Kenny Miller at Centre Mid and he'll bring on a defender with two minutes to go to sort out Scotlands problems. It's worked for him in the past... Lol @ Burley what a clown.
-
No. I can only speak for myself (but I have a strong feeling I'm not alone on this one) but the reason I rated JPS wasn't because he scored a "couple of nice goals". They came late on in his time here and we'd noticed his qualities as a defender way before the Watford game. No blinkers here, he's just a bloody good defender.
-
Yes I remember that. We were quite confortable with him on the pitch and almost as soon as he was substituted we looked like the 'typical' Saints that we all know and love.
-
Probably not very, after all he is asking the local paper to advertise his services... so he's not exactly a wanted man meaning his wages won't be high at all. Can't understand how he doesn't already have another club though.
-
That penalty at Blackpool was a joke. No contact made with Campbell (i think it was) he just took a tumble and made it look like JPS had touched him. So there's another one you can cross off the list. However, I don't think we will sign him just because he's a player Pards has never heard of. If only someone could tell him that there's a quality player out there who actually wants to play for us and won't cost us anything.

Will be buying my tickets tomorrow, reasonable prices too. -
Yeah that's it. Nobody else has come in for him??? Oh well he must be useless then. Like Murty and Harding also I suppose? One thing you have to give credit to Wotte for is JPS. He was by far our best defender last season and if we could get him in League 1 we'd be laughing. Quality defender who had only one bad game for us in 20. Sign him up please Pardew.
-
Can't make any sense of that.
-
We shouldn't go down the route of 'let's try anything just to get rid of Wotton', because he's not that bad. He does a job, occasionally ****s up but most of the time is steady. Thompson is nowhere near ready to start in League 1. He looked too weak and inexperienced against League 2 opposition last night, so we shouldn't be thinking of starting him in the first team. He needs a season long loan move imo.
