Bloody stupid move if so. A few drips might believe it but the majority of fans see through it, and most people don’t like being told it’s raining when they’re being pissed on. If/when Ralph goes, I think Semmens has to go too, the geezer has done some good things but the standard of outward mediocrity he has set is pitiful.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool
The Kraken replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
^^ this Lavia is a definite prospect, but having him back isn’t suddenly going to change the whole way the team plays. We’ll still be creating a shockingly low number of chances per game. He will hopefully give us a bit more grit in the midfield, but the sum total of our problems are nowhere near being fixed just by getting Lavia back. -
To confirm, are you in any of the vulnerable groups or conditions listed on the nhs site? From what I’ve read before it’s people at risk, front line health and care workers, carers etc, it read to me that most under 50s weren’t in line for it in the next tranche.

This. Tuchel would’ve been a miracle. Anyone who said otherwise would be a complete moron. Wolfman has been posting on here for many years, mostly under a different user name until relatively recently.

Probably the best was the ‘thief’ who nearly got tackled by the on duty copy who didn’t realise he was part of the police dog show.

You shouldn’t.

🤣 The heady days indeed. Some absolute whoppers on here thinking we’d smashed it because Cortese said so.
-
No, I wouldn’t agree with that. Haaland scored, hit the post when clean through, and had another couple of misses which on another day he would easily put away. When he played against bournemouth he only touched the ball 8 times all game. His day against Saints wasn’t his toughest test by any means whatsoever, he could very easily have had a hat trick.
-
I don’t think we need one other than to prove a point. Anyone saying ‘Ralph to stay’ is either a complete whopper or on the wind up.
-
No chance. It’s no surprise that Saints haven’t won anything since we got rid of the hilarious Mike Osman from his fantastically funny half time set. Now them were the days.
-
I won’t expect that to happen then.

It was a bit odd. Pep looked like he just wanted to get away from Ralph but Ralph kept jabbering is his ear and pointing at things.
-
IpNobody thinks he’s a bad person. The ticket-paying fans have two options: don’t pay for your ticket, or register your discontent. Both are fair game, nobody is forced to clap along like a noddy at a game If the performance is utterly shit. Ralph has had plenty of respect from the fans. You sound like a Semmens, blaming the fans for shit performances.

Aside from the two CBs I’m holding nobody from our team in any esteem today.

In the case of Wilson, yes, I think that should trigger a GE. Biden is a US president, that’s different. Not worth a comment. People understand the system; that they disagree with it is something entirely different. Your last sentence is a bit arse about face. We send people to represent us in parliament based upon the fact that we know who the leaders of the parties are, and what they represent. Nobody elected the thousands of Tory party members who just decided who the new PM is. In fact, the very Tory MPs who you say “decide who the PM is” were in a majority for Sunak. So your last statement is demonstratively utter pony, Truss is PM despite the MPs and because of the member vote. You knew that, surely!

Not to go all MLG but S Armstrong started today.

I always thought we’d miss Forster unless Bazunu turned out to be true class. He isn’t that. There are better keepers than Forster but, at our level, he was good. Price was obviously a massive factor in losing him, but right now I’d have him as our number one any day.

Can’t disagree with this, at this point in time. The summer recruitment policy seemed to largely revolve around getting in the Man City recruitment manager and buying a bunch of nippers from Man City that he knew. As it’s looking so far our best signings this season are Billy Ketchup and Joe Aribo, who perhaps didn’t come from a Joe Shields recommendation. We also fucked up not bringing in a striker that the club, the manager and the fans all said we needed. Also, we spent a lot this summer, but from what I’ve read over the past year or two, that money has been sat in our account since a Covid load undertaken when Gao was in charge. So, have SR actually put up any money themselves? Far too early to pontificate on the merits or otherwise of SR, but let’s just say that the jury is out.
