Possible re-siting of away fans at SMS
The Kraken replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Quite a lot to consider with it: - Plenty of Northam fans and Itchen North fans enjoy being there because it's so close to the away fans. - Where do the away fans actually move to? What do the people who sit there make of it?- Would Northam/Itchen North fans also move to remain closer to the away fans? In theory it would be good to have a whole home end ; in reality there's a lot of factors to bear in mind so it's not as simple as a yes/no answer for me, would probably need to see the finer details. But in general, yes, worth investigating. -
It's all gone very quickly. On Monday, Mark Hughes was fired as Southampton FC coach. The name Ralph Hasenhüttl quickly ghosted through the British media that he was the first contender to succeed him. Then in the evening, the decision was made. The 51-year-old Styrian takes over the traditional club, becoming the first Austrian coach in the English Premier League. Hasenhüttl will be officially unveiled on Tuesday. The contract, as the Kleine Zeitung learned, has already been signed. The Austrian had ended his involvement with RB Leipzig last May. Now he's back in full business.

Nicola Cortese wants to return to English footie

I reckon I'd be back for some of that. -
Liverpool and Luis Suarez suggests no, not always. Arsenal's bid triggered the release clause but Liverpool refused to accept it.

Police Investigations into historical interference with young players
The Kraken replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
Lots of comments being made on how terrible this will make the club look. Personally I couldn't give a f*ck how it makes the club look. The most important thing is that any and all people who suffered because of this are given the opportunity to come forward (anonymously if they choose) and ensure that justice is served. Compared to that, talk of how bad the club looks is just meaningless drivel and so far away from being the main issue it's not even worth considering. -
Ah I miss this place. A harmless little spat has somehow turned into the most unprofessional thing EVER seen by Saints players, and a total and utter embarrassment to the club that they'll never live down. Classic.

Without a doubt keep him. He no longer seems to be the out and out first choice striker; as opposed to last season and the first half of this one, Koeman really didn't seem to want to go with a Mane/Long partnership, but that has changed JRod and Austin to come back but both of them very different to Pelle.

Do we still wish we were Stoke/Watford/Everton/Palace?

Amen to that brother. -

You've been on this site long enough now, you should know (even if Always doesn't actually realise/admit it himself) that it's his "thing", it's predominantly what he does on here. Much like Jamie moaning about Pelle, really.

All time saints best XI v all time best Pompey XI

Are you a bit simple, Roger? Have a read of the part that makes it clear why I made those selections. -
All time saints best XI v all time best Pompey XI

I'd agree with Bale and Keegan but I have Shearer in my all time Saints XI. It was early in his career but he was brilliant; called up for England when with us and scored on his debut. His first season after signing for Blackburn saw him score 16 goals in a 21 game injury blighted season, and there was a reason he went for a then record fee, he was fecking superb. My all time XI is not necessarily the best XI on paper, but who I most enjoyed watching in my time at the Dell / St Mary's. Antti Niemi Nathaniel Clyne - Michael Svensson - Mark Wright - Mark Dennis Jimmy Case - Steve Williams Rodney Wallace - Matt Le Tissier - Danny Wallace Alan Shearer -
Can't it just. :lol::lol::lol:

Post-Match Reaction: Swansea City 0-1 SAINTS
The Kraken replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Unlike you to see the negative in anything. Great tactics from Koeman, he got it spot on, Saints were superb. -
Looks like a train track in there as well?? Green strip towards the bottom.

Why would anyone pay for something that they think is sh*t? Weird.

Turkish raises some good points, it has gone downhill on here (to my tastes anyway). It used to be a place you could happily chat nonsense on, take the p*ss out of others and get the p*ss ripped out of you for ridiculous stuff you had said. Not so much these days, too many people wanting to report to the teacher and just post banal rubbish. It's still the best site for gossip and what not on upcoming transfers etc, but not for me so much as my last year or so of minimal posting will attest to. A shame really, I like the place but just don't get much out of it any more. Which I'm sure makes plenty of others rejoice, so happy days indeed.

Has this question been clarified yet?

We are the very definition of a team misfiring and in a bit of a slump. Pelle hasn't scored in the PL since 1st November. Mane hasn't scored for nearly 2 months. Long has got 1 goal in that time. J Rod misfired before getting injured. Still 12th though, so it's not all doom and gloom. But it's starting to look like a re-think up front is in need, our current 3 options just aren't doing it.
