Blooding youngsters is great; expecting it to push us on to CL qualification is a bit naive IMO.

He was a constant feature of a side that was never outside the top two of the Championship in a promotion season. If he was found wanting I'd have thought he would have been replaced more often that he was. Especially so considering we had other left back options available to us.

We're not going to produce a Luke Shaw, Walcott, Bale etc every single season. It won't happen. We'll also not realise the quality of some of our talent until they're in their early twenties.

The FA Cup win means very little to me as I was only just born at the time and therefore don't really feel associated with it. Older folk will of course disagree with that, and had I been 20 years older I'd imagine your idea would seem like complete nonsense. As it is, I probably wouldn't be too bothered either way.

Agreed. But the Football League have made an unnecessary rod for their own backs by deciding to dock them the points only when they exit administration. They should have just done it at the start of the season, when it was clear that CVA-1 hadn't been paid per the original terms; banter aside, that would have been fair. As it is this stupid situation has been allowed to fester, and if they let them off now there will be hell to pay from the other clubs, but it will be a decision completely at odds with everything the FL have said about it. But, as we know ourselves, the FL make it up as they go along and change their own rules to suit their prevailing moods.
