  1. Something like this?
  2. Out of his team's 18 league games this season, Todorov has started in 2 and come on as sub in 1. He has scored zero goals.
  3. I had crabs (phnarr). A couple of them. They lasted for about 2 days before they both make a break for freedom (crawling up the wire for the pump and through an impossibly small gap in the tank lid. They were found perished, shrivelled and dried out by me the next morning on the living room floor, one having made it all the way to the patio doors. Idiots.
  4. Really? I thought it was decent myself. Sometimes used to catch it to work when I had an office in Swanwick and it was really good. Never very packed either, so a service about every hour seemed about right. The line pretty much follows the A27 so I don't see too many places are left out.
  5. Would it? Is there not a decent railway network that already serves So'ton and Pompey plus the notable towns, villages and suburbs in between? If the stadium area is redeveloped then I'd prefer any investment in infrastructure to go on a tram network akin to Manchester, connecting St. Mary's, a developed Ocean Village and Mayflower Park with below bar, above bar and London Road.
  6. It doesn't bear it out at all in my eyes; it shows me what might have been had he been on the pitch for longer. Lambert IS 30, and he's perhaps the most influential player we have and should be on the pitch as much as possible. If you're suggesting he can only play an efficient 30 minutes every game due to lack of fitness I'm going to have to disagree. The decisions previously to rest Lambert at the starts of games were questioned at the time. That news of the players not necessarily going along with is seemingly drifting out wouldn't be a surprise to me. Lets see if Pochettino gives the same tactic a go; if its worked so well in the past he'll surely be encouraged to try it further. I have a feeling he won't, but we'll see.
  7. If there are a multitude of shops and bars built down there I don't think the lack of a train station right on the doorstep is going to be a massive hindrance.
  8. I was surprised to read the other day that Lallana is 5' 7".
  9. Perhaps if you just admitted that you initially incorrectly wrote Crystal Palace instead of Blackpool (and were quoted three times on it) you might head this off MLG. Trying to deny it is exceptionally silly.
  10. MLG has never, ever admitted he is wrong. Don't expect it to happen this time either, Diggers my boy.
  11. Yes, maybe it was all four of other people that quoted him that all edited it to say Crystal Palace.
  12. What a very strange post. You make it sound as if no-one ever questioned some of Adkins' tactics before. Talk about rewriting history.....
  13. Ince doesn't play for Crystal Palace.
  14. Yep. Gordon Watson was commentating on the game and was really frustrated that we didn't go at them from the start, saying that it was a good point but we really could have gone for all three. There's something awry when you have by far your most expensive, most creative midfield player and by far your best striker on the bench as a tactical decision.
  15. Been to Puerto Pollensa 3 times before and its great for adults and kids. Alcudia is very nice too. As has been said, so long as you stay away from ****aluf and Palma there's some really nice towns and resorts all round the island.
  16. It's starting to appear that that may well just have happened, Wes.
  17. And yet this constantly got trotted out on here as being such a sage move, a tactical masterstroke. As it turns out it was something the players didn't buy in to. And hopefully it'll be something we don't see again this season; Lambert is far and away the best striker we have at this club, leaving him on the bech for more than half a game at a time and utilising a significantly inferior player instead makes very, very little tactical sense.
  18. And good aquarium stockists will be able to sell a complete starter pack (tank, heater, pump/filter, plants, gravel etc). They often come bundled in start up packs. The theory of them is pretty much the whatever the size of tank, my first tank was 3ft so you dont necessarily have to start small and work up.
  19. I found the best thing to do was to go and speak to an expert about it. Find a decent aquarium stockist close to you (a proper one, not somewhere like Pets at Home). If you live anywhere near Romsey then Romsey World of Water always used to be pretty good (at least when I had my tropical setup a few years back). They'll be able to give you all the advice you need for startup.
  20. I don't see the point of opening the stadium platform. It would only be used once every other week; and besides St. Mary's already has very good transport links. Including the whole bus network, there are also at least 3 different train stations (including So'ton Central) within a 15-20 minute walk of the stadium.
  21. That's indeed a very good point which I hadn't considered. And what with making sure that the de facto away kit for this season, the yellow one, is not actually on sale, the club would clearly be looking to maximise shirt sales. I need to rethink my campaign.
  22. I'd like to have a campaign to use the white away kit again next season. It's been such a rampaging success this season that a repeat for 2013-14 should surely be the aim of any right-thinking Saints fan.
  23. A lot of Matt's feelings are (I imagine) personal. Ways that he has been treated, and ways that his close friends and former colleagues have been treated by the club. If you knew about the appalling treatment the ex-Saints have consistently received then you might understand a little how much former players have been marginalised. I know bits of it, and what I know not very nice and seemingly very personal. Also the Pinnacle thing. For some reason MLT hasn't seemed to accept full culpability for his role in that. Even in his book he dressed it up and stated that his consortium "couldn't quite get over the line"; so I imagine that plays a part of it, and having his nose rubbed in it likely hurts him more than it would seem. At the end of the day, you can bet that (his obvious bias aside) MLT knows one hell of a lot more about the running of this club than anyone on this message board. So, while it may not be palatable for some to hear his constant bleatings, he has a right to make them and I actually welcome them. Indeed I wish he would consistently be more specific; if he's going to criticise I'd rather hear exactly why rather than "Nicols is a nasty man and it'll all come out one day" which I agree doesn't do him any favours.
  24. Why is that even a relevant question? I've already said that the club does many good things; you make it out that I'm clamouring for a change of leadership.
