  1. What a complete and utter waste of police time. Ridiculous.
  2. Jack Clarke looked full of promise prior to his injury; he tore us to pieces at their place earlier in the season. Not sure how he's been since he got back (March-time I think) but a total of 15 goals from 40 league appearances is pretty impressive for someone who isn't a striker. His agent is Ian Harte and he's been vocal that Sunderland won't be able to match his wage demands.
  3. I have Norwich in mind, seem to recall a £3m price tag being mooted. Edit: or maybe it was Fulham actually.
  4. 100% agree. A week or so ago I had a look into his stats from Brighton last year, post below: This season at Brighton he’s started 12 games and come on as sub in 12. So either unused sub or not in the squad in 14 league games. Of the games he’s started, he’s only twice made it past the 60 minute mark before getting hooked. And he’s scored zero goals, assisted 1. He’s clearly still a pretty good player at some sort of level, but just such a risk for anyone to take as he can’t get close to finishing a 90 minute game. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/leistungsdaten/spieler/43530
  5. I think the officials must have been told not to referee it as if were a PL game. There were a few quite close offside calls which, in the PL, they would let play run with the lino keeping the flag down. Noticeably the flag went up for all of those reasonably tight decisions. (TBF its one area that massively annoys me in the PL, the abundance of caution when everyone can see its offside but they let play go on anyway). Also there really weren't many/any really controversial incidents in the game and certainly no blunders from the officials. Overall it was light touch VAR and I think more people might be sympathetic to using VAR if it could be done more like that.
  6. The Tory campaign is going ever so well 🤣
  7. You’re still peddling that lie are you? Absolutely full of it.
  8. Shut up David you fucking melt.
  9. Warnock losing his rag with the lawnmowers 🤣
  10. Try telling my underpants that right now ☹️
  11. Of course he’s going to say that and I think he’s actually been really fair. Said we were just better defensively.
  12. @Kermitzasaintsorry lad, must be tough to take.
  13. And who could fail to feel secure with this action man in command?
  14. Corbyn is a twat no doubt, but I’m not sure if labelling him a pacifist and being in favour of nuclear disarmament is quite the slam dunk you think it is. Fuck me, there’s plenty to go after Corbyn about and that’s the best you can do? And I thought he was thick.
  15. Clearly not true though is it. I know a few people who voted Labour pretty much all their lives but either they didnt vote at all because of Corbynor they. Opted for the Greens.
  16. Never realised he was such a Corbyn fan but makes sense of his continual defence of antisemitism especially from the likes of Corbyn and Abbott.
  17. 🤣
  18. I'm sure they will, and I'm sure most/all of them have likely feathered their nests already so that they'll have a "job" to walk straight into. Nonetheless, I'll still find it a trifle enjoyable for one evening.
  19. I've had it planned in for ages. A long list of twats who I'm hoping all end up looking dejected and out on their arses: Gullis, 30p Lee, Sue Ellen (unlikely), Mogg, Fabricunt, roll up roll up.
  20. Tbf Kemi is the only one in a senior position these days. Though also tbf she’s even more completely useless than the other three, just not quite yet as toxic.
  21. ‘On the path’ to managed decline 🤣 The country has been in managed declined since we were told around 15 years ago that, as a nation, we need to tighten our belt buckles and get ready for cuts to public services, in the name of austerity.
  22. No, nowhere near it, their sales policy was stricter than Saints and they won’t get anywhere near general sale. Phases one and two of the club's ticket sales for the Championship finale on Sunday, against Southampton, allowed purchases by season ticket holders, away season ticket holders, seasonal hospitality members and home and away tracker members with nine-plus game attendance this season. Now that the deadlines for those phases have passed, the next phase will allow home and away tracker membership holders with five-plus games to purchase a ticket. Tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis to all My Leeds Members who bought a ticket for five or more games in total across the 2023/24 season. The tracker data includes all home league, home cup, away league and away cup fixtures in the season but excludes the play-off semi-finals.
  23. It was 2012-13, we brought in the Liverpool away kit, with white shorts and white socks. The club also said they would never deviate from that, and if there was a shorts and/or socks clash then we wouldn’t wear anything but the white and so would change kit completely. Come Christmas and there hadn’t been a single game where we had worn that kit, in fact I believe the club brought back the yellow kit from the season before just to have a viable third kit. They ended up wearing the kit at home as an FA Cup kit, and we lost (to Chelsea?) and so the fortune of the kit was doomed. It might have hot one or two other airings but it was a complete disaster.
