  1. Not sure this set up is working for us. Definitely missing Flynn Downes, and Shea Charles is having a bit of a shocker. Think I’d be hooking Alcaraz and getting on Smallbone, let Aribo get forward a bit more and provide a better shielding for the defence. Not a good half.
  2. Janny B has saved us a few times now.
  3. Awful, got his toblerone boots on by the look of it.
  4. KWP has got no help at all down the right hand side. Fuck me we are sloppy.
  5. Just then.
  6. Bit of a flap from Bazunu there, forwards offside though so wouldn’t have mattered. We finally got into their penalty box!
  7. It’s tidy enough but no chances for either side. All a bit attritional so far.
  8. I think that would be being a bit kind on him. The geezer’s an absolute whopper, always has been.
  9. Why would Che want to leave? 6 months left, can leave on a free and get much more options than having a club pay a fee. Also, why would the club sell him? Stewart is out until February at best and we don’t have anyone else. Its an issue that people seem to have made up in their heads.
  10. Agreed. Gabby Logan is a top class presenter, some of the girls doing match analysis offer some decent info, and who doesn’t love Jules Breach? I’m not a fan of female commentators (just too high pitched) but it must also be said that plenty of the fellas on comms and punditry are crap. I’m a Barry Davis man myself, old school class. Watching the Fa cup draw this weekend, they had Trevor Steven and someone called Jen Beattie drawing the balls out of the bingo machine; Trevor Steven played in 4 finals with Everton, and Jen Beattie has won the women’s FA cup 4 times apparently. And they’re asking her about it, what the magic and history of the FA Cup meant. What she has won is obviously a very honourable achievement, and I wouldn’t at all wish to belittle it; but the women’s FA cup was founded in 1970, its really not a very good comparison comparing it directly with the men’s. I just found it a bit silly.
  11. Nothing says “position of power” more than a 5 foot 4 jug eared posh boy going on national tv and acting like a spoilt brat over his ridiculous plan to bypass national and international laws. He’s an absolutely small man in literally everything he’s ever done, his major achievement in life was to marry someone rich and use her money to heat his swimming pool. Just hope they don’t break literally everything before they get booted out.
  12. Different strokes for different folks I suppose, but I think Trinny Woodall looks like a botoxed old twig. But you do you 👍
  13. Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
  14. Arsenal v Liverpool and Sunderland v Newcastle, they’re absolutely prime for being the big games, two massive third round games. Hopefully TV also pick up a non leaguer or two as well, as they typically do. Usual suspects seems alright for this round,
  15. And why would he leave? Only a few months left on his contract and can go for free at the end of the season, so he’d have far more options without a transfer fee around his neck. Also don’t think the club will want rid of him, Rod Stewart out until god knows when and Sekou Mara is the second choice striker if Adams goes.

Just been reading more about it, looks like Farnborough were the straw that broke the camel’s back when they reversed their fixture to Highbury. Since then there’s a rule that you can still switch, but any switch has to go to a close neutral ground and the clubs can’t profit any extra than they would have done based on the switching club’s capacity.

I believe the rules got changed on that about 20 years ago to stop clubs doing it to cash in; I think there’s now no financial incentive to do so, any ‘extra’ money raised goes into a central pool.
  18. Well done Saints. Best overall display of the season I’d say. Adarma obvious MOTM but it thought Shea Charles was bloody brilliant. Him and a Downes do so much work that can get overlooked but they’re both genuine quality and kept us ticking all day.
  19. Great chance Charles, think it came off his shoulder.
  20. Wrong choice there, should’ve put in slowmo Joe.
  21. Well that’s a wake up call. The cross was allowed in far too easily and nobody marking at the back post. Big let off. Cardiff def more up for this now.
  22. I personally think he gives so much more to the team than Smallbone does, he’s a proper player.
  23. they didn’t mention it directly but he looked like he got a reasonable whack. Would prefer it if players didn’t push their face into the dirt when it happens but he did get a good old clock in the mooey.
  24. The queues for the food stand in there are absolutely incredible 🤣
  25. Strolling around the terminal unchallenged, I can only imagine.
