If West Ham stay up they might continue in their efforts to rebuild their team with formerly relegated Southampton players.

Come on Ipswich! They need to keep the top 2 chase alive until the last game of the season as Wrexham have two of them in the last two fixtures. Plus Leicester would still be relegation faves.

We have WBA next to potentially compound their pain but they'll be wanting the points so that's not an easy game for us. Leicester will be flat out shitting themselves. I hope Oxford survive.

Ah the Dave Jones Dad's Army of signing ageing 30+ pros. We had a lot in those couple of years. The season before we had Palmer, Jones, Richardson, Hirst and Beresford, that season was Ripley, Howells, Hughes, Colleter and Marsden. Some bigger hits than others but we also bought Beatts, Pahars and Kachloul who were younger hits. I remember ringing in to Radio Solent to rave about Carlton Palmer. I had only recently been introduced to alcohol and made a bit of a tit of myself. Nothing has changed in that respect.

I'm so conflicted as i don't really like Spurs or West Ham. I want West Ham to sink most but they're getting their shit together under Nuno. Spurs going down would very funny. Frankly I'm happy with either, as long as Forest stay up either of the other two can drop. Leeds are far from safe either. They could well be in trouble if the others keep picking up points.

Those last 5 games for us against mid table teams likely to be on the beach (Derby could still be in the mix) and Blackburn look favourable, it's the few tough games before that which could define our season. Ipswich, Wrexham, Coventry and even Norwich will be the key fixtures. Hull have WBA, Wednesday and Oxford in 3 games. They must be thinking that's 9 points. Before and after that their fixtures are tough. Look at Wrexham's last 2 fixtures. We can only hope the 3 way fight for promotion continues to the last day. To be even still in the play-off conversation is excellent, it gives us something to play for. If we'd lost, say, two of our recent wins we'd likely be season over in mid-table thinking about the summer rebuild. At least our recent form has kept the season from petering out.

Ipswich win. Hull remain 7 ahead.
