Not one sub. Jesus Christ. Which is ironically who we need now. On the wing as he's familiar with crosses.
-
Would this be a worse defeat than Iceland? I feel like it could be bearing in mind how better this team is on paper.

Shame we can only make 5 subs really. If Southgate doesn't make any half time subs he's going to want to stay in Germany forever.

Abysmal is the word. Effort has been there perhaps but that's it.

Yet we still got promoted so there's hope for England yet I suppose. If only England had Adam Armstrong...
-
Any effectiveness Mainoo could have had has been taken away by the yellow card. Agree about Wharton. I'm sure we'll see Trent on at some point to win it for England...
-
Kane basically playing right back there. That's good tactics.

Next England Manager choice then people? Pochettino?
-
Bloody Kevin Phillips would improve this team.
-
3 goals needed then!
-
Yeah no Guehi for the Quarters (if it matters). Dunk, Konsa or Gomez then. Dunk for me. If it matters...
-
Mainoo for me. Young, willing to impress, one foot wrong and he's toast.
-
Could be a sending off this game. Either side.
-
Ha I yelled the same thing.

English ref English VAR! Classic!

Italy are not even fighting for this. Switzerland are in total control. They should just pass it round Saints style and they'll be in the Quarter Finals facing Slovakia. 😜 I mean England. Yes, England. 🏴

It is a lot but it's almost a guaranteed profit for them when, eventually, they sell him to a big club. Pundits have raved about him all season but I heard it the most during the play off final. He has a lot of experience under his belt for an 18 year old. The sad thing is it helps Leeds out financially! 😁

I heard the Premier League will also clamp down on clubs over-inflating prices to try to get around PSR. (Chelsea signing an almost untested Villa youngster for £19 million is suspicious to me - makes me wonder if the Ian Maatsen deal had something to do with that.)
-
I'm actually pleased he's signed a new contract and I hope he's a success this season. Clearly the club see him as a long term solution and stability. It makes me wonder if we'll do a Burnley/Kompany and keep him whatever the results this season. I still think Russ reminds me of Jeebs from Men in Black.

Whaaaaaaaaat!?!? Ok, shows how much I've been paying attention to Denmark this Euros - and we played them! Which shows how much I've been paying attention to England too.
