Pangy do you not think that the club's medical department has been consulted about JRod and Austin? We might not have seen much of them, but the club surely knows what it is doing.
-
Some of us are amateurs and put faith in the club's professional employees to get recruitment correctly organized. As an aside, why is it often those with Saint in their name that are the melts?
-
I was using youth vernacular, although your post might suggest I might be a youth which while I would love to be, is sadly not the case. I have kids that are youths so maybe that is an influence in this. I also thought it a more polite term than pussies
-
Where do all these melts come from? Do they lurk on the forum to then make an appearance during the closed season?
-
Do they have big question marks over them? Or is that just you having a melt? Do you think you are more qualified than the club and it's professionals to pass judgment?
-
Because we have to name a 25 man squad so no point having 15 strikers
-
Who do you think Austin was brought in to replace?
-
I'll miss those s#ite flicks of his
-
If we all think replacements are needed, do you not think the club and the professionals who work there know it or at least know what they are doing? Or is it just us amateurs who can see things?
-
I think pre season will show whether we need to replace. Failing that Sam G has to step up and grab his chance.

I'm not sure which games Cedric was supposed to be poor at. I went to all the home games except Everton, and saw no evidence of him being **** that others seem to have.

Stade Velodrome looks one ****ing amazing stadium. Oh to have one like that!!!

Are teams going to be bothered to blood any academy players when they can go and spunk £20m+ on a foreigner without batting an eye lid? I really would bring in a 15% surcharge on all overseas players (and maybe their wages as well!!!) to fund grass roots football in this country. Buying hundreds of millions of pounds worth of overseas players helps overseas clubs but does nothing what so ever to clubs below us.

I look at it another way.... £300k x 52 weeks = £15.6m Old Trafford = 75k for 19 PL games = 1.425m tickets £15.6 / 1.425 = £10.95 I realise that that is simplistic, and wages far outstrip match day income, but it is a measure of things that I like to use. Add Rooney to that and that's means the two wages is the equivalent of £20 a ticket on every PL game.

It's OK. If you want to get back to Soton that night by train, the last one leaves Manchester Piccadilly at 9.15 goes via London and gets in at 3am. However if you want to watch the 2nd half, then you'd best plan to stay in Manchester that night as there are no return trains.

So is this the way it is for televised PL footie.... Saturday - lunch and evening live footie Sunday - lunch, afternoon, evening footie Monday - night time footie Tuesday - Champ League, odd evening footie Wednesday - Champ League, odd evening footie Thursday - Europa League Friday - evening footie Christ, it's nice to have a break from footie for two or three days, but seemingly not. Very much disagree with Friday night games. The worst day of the week to travel. But more that it had seemingly become prime televised slot for the Championship. I am one who believes these sort of things should be shared about and if that means leaving Friday exclusively for Championship games, so be it. Having said that, I am not sure how many Friday PL games there are going to be. But once started......

VVD or JRod.

No old bean. I tell ya, we're doomed!!! DOOMED! I'd lump money on now for relegation as you can still get 25-1. Surely it will tumble soon when it will become obvious that we are destined for the drop, even before the season has kicked off. And once we are relegated we can all go and support Jurgen's men as the familiarity of half the squad will be very comforting and ease the transition of one's allegiances.

Nice to hear Adrian Durham being so positive this morning. Said that he was surprised Wales didn't attack Cedric who after all is a fairly average defender. Or maybe he said that he wasn't particularly good. His words tend to come in one ear and out the other, but the gist of it is correct as to what he said.
-
They can afford to do that seeing that they have been given a tax payer funded 60,000 stadium with the tax payer also picking up the tab to run it.
-
Who was the Welsh co-commentator?
-
Watching the game, not sure the England side would be winning this.
-
Alas, what we want, and what happens are not the same thing. But yes, my choice of words wasn't quite right.
-
I have alwys liked Cedric. Does anyone know why RK dropped him?
-
Sorry, but I don't understand what you have written. Bomb on FIFA??????
