Have to agree with you. However I am at the back of the stand, and if the board goes up with 4 minutes ET, I'll leave after 3. I go with my lad or father who has dementia, so it is easier to leave before the crush. As I and others have mentioned, there aren't enough exits and that is in my eyes the biggest flaw with the stadium design. Some at the back running down to ground level would have been good, but I can't see that happening on H&S grounds.

Depends who you are asking. - The pragmatic supporter in me - then maybe, it's a **** load of money. - The romantic (for want of a better word) supporter - absolutely not. I don't care about the bank balance. I don't really buy a season ticket each year to be pragmatic.

I feel rather sorry for the "sad fckers" who would lower themselves to drink the utter pîss served up as beer just for the sake of having a beer. Never quite understood the mentality of that. If it was decent beer then maybe. (But having said that, I've never really understood the "sad fckers" who drink lager in pubs as it is obvious they have zero taste, so maybe they don't mind buying over priced gnats pîss at half time).

I wonder how many of those who criticise people for leaving a couple of minutes early are the same people who leave their seats 5 mins before half time and get back 5 minutes into second half all so that they can get a pint or two of gnats ****. Or if all those sanctimonious people who complain when someone leaves early don't do this, why are these people who miss 5 mins either side of half time not criticised in the same way? As it is, I don't really care what people think, and I'll leave whenever I want to. Just like I won't criticise those who do want to leave to get a pint (just something I wouldn't do myself).

Personally I leave my seat with 1 minute to go in added on time. Being at the top of the stand it takes 10 minutes to get out and another 10 to get over the bridge. I don't like waiting so I miss about 10-20 seconds of the game. If there was an exit at the top of the stand all the way down to ground level, then no doubt I would wait until the final whistle. I pay for my ticket, so I'll choose how long I stay to watch. I don't criticise all those who miss the last 5 minutes or so of the 1st half so that they can go and get a beer and some "food" rather than queue. I don't criticise them for missing the first 5 minutes or so of the 2nd half for the same reason. They are though, ****ing annoying as it's a pain being like a jack in the box as they return to their seats. Live and let live.

Can't see him signing to sit on the bench. He came to us as he wanted to resurrect a career that had stagnated and we needed someone. Suited both parties very well, and I am sure that he is pragmatic about FF should he be fit again this season. Advantage to us is that we might (presuming FF does gain fitness) have a very good GK situation for this season.

Funniest thing was, that when he came on, the co-commentator said something akin to him being "an excellent replacement". Now I am not sure who was co-commentating, but even the most die hard and biased Scouser would be hard pressed to call him excellent. Trying to keep my eye on both games at once. For the Liverpool ex Saints lot.... Clyne....looks OK without really doing anything spectacular. Lovren...almost scored one goal, but for Palace's 2nd he was standing about 4 foot from the nearest Palace player. Lallana...lots of running around and attempts at being pretty without much impact.

Gibbs look good, but hardly playing as a back, more an outright winger. Must confess I scratched my head when he came on.

Certainly went to him before it went to Pardew!
