Can I get an award for being a pedant if I point out that there is no such bird as a seagull? -

1) It's pathetic 2) I doubt the CAA/ATC will let a plane fart around above the stadium given that it is on the flight path to the airport 3) I'm not looking up, not with them LED's burning my eyes. 4) I'm more interested at what happens on the pitch than above it. -
Came in from Lyndhurst/Ashurst way. No problems coming in or going out.

Kane will get player of the month.

If only......he had another 3 or 4 inches in height. Having said that, he knows this disadvantage and often doesn't bother going for the first ball (when there is little to no chance of winning it) but concentrates on the 2nd ball.

Pellé getting some stick from our fans.....fair or not?

a) no point in kicking a man when he is down. b) no point in openly criticising him, given the alternatives available, as that won't make him play any better. c) he knows he's not firing on all cylinders. Not sure if you were at the game, but when he fluffed a chance in front of the Northam, they started singing his name which he responded by giving a thumbs up. -
Tadic needs sometimes to be more selfish and shoot.

True that there was no need for 2 holding midfielders, but I would have loved to have seen him push higher up in the position JWP took up. Love watching him and hope to see much more of him in the years to come. One thing that impressed me and my old man this evening, was how quick he is to get up off the floor after a tackle and into the next one. He is very pugnacious (in a good way) and I do sometimes worry that he might be too so, but so far his timing has been great as well.

When he gets subbed, I don't think we play better, in fact the opposite as was very noticeable to me at least vs Swansea. I was wondering what he would be like if he swapped every now and then with Davis? Alternating the defence/attack role.

My preference.... Chelsea win - although Everton are 18 (!!!) points behind us, no need to give them any encouragement. Palace win, as L'house says, it would be worth it just to see the True Geordie venting his spleen. Also the irony in it all. Burnley win of course. Not only because of vs Man U, but because they have so many British players in their squad, have spent 26p and are doing it the right/hard way. Stoke win, presuming we win would mean City only 1 point ahead of us. WBA win - no point having Swansea getting too close.

Ah...ifs and ands. But that is why I am optimistic for the rest of the season, so long as we aren't blighted with injuries and suspensions. But on the other hand, my pessimism kicks in and I realise that there are no easy games. But as an aside, and we'll see this evening, the media are going on and on and on about the battle for 3rd and 4th. It is not beyond possibility that ManC will lose tonight, and both us and ManU win. That will mean 49, 48, 47 points respectively. I know that the stats show that when Toure is in, ManC win, but they surely must be looking over their shoulders a little bit.

I have this perennial battle as to my feelings for footie. Seems silly to enter a competition where only 2 teams, maybe 3, have any realistic chance of winning the thing, but as you say, let's just focus on tonight. Just imagine the fun we would be having now if we had beaten Villa, Burnley and Swansea and got a point at Arsenal and one or more at home vs United.
-
Of course we won't. That way.... ...if we do manage to, I'll be very happy ...if we don't, I won't be so disappointed as it is what I expected. All games are important, tomorrow's is a tricky one, but the real 2 important ones are obviously Liverpool and Spurs both at home. If we have the full squad up and running, then I cannot imagine that Liverpool and Spurs will be looking forward to visiting us. Morgan and Vic seem to be back and when Toby makes it back along with Ryan......fingers crossed and all that.

Ballcocks. The radio will be going ad nauseam on how ****ing wonderful Liverpool were.

Villa back to their normal ways after the shock of scoring a goal at the weekend.

While Arsenal were expected to win, it's a shame that Leicester couldn't put away more than one of their very good chances. But hey, no surprise in that result. And here comes Banana
-
hahahahahaha and Hull 2-0 up against Villa
-
Presume that Man City will pick up when Toure comes back, but at this rate, they are in danger of dropping out of the top 4.
-
Really? I didn't think that was a pen at all. The leg was left in, and he ran into it.
