Correct - it comes from watching Saints

He must be bad if we can do without him. - oh yes, I remember now.

Anything is non-lethal so long as you don't point it at yourself.

How will they check? Land Registry, presumably?

My uncle was in the RAF regiment and saw Belsen and others at the end of the war. After that, he never wanted to have any children.

I went through all this last year when I unfortunately had to make an employee's position redundant. There is a free advice for employees in this situation (ACAS for example). It is common for a company to offer a settlement on condition that there will be no further action. Such acceptance cannot make an unfair action fair, but the offer may be better than the statutory redundancy money, which is not a lot.

Is that over 65 or over 60? I just asked for a senior ticket, which for Saints is over 60, and that's what they sent me, no questions asked.

Then they may have a clear case for unfair dismisal. If the correct procedures have not been followed then the dismissal is automatically unfair.

An irishman is walking home in the dark after a night on the town when he is propositioned by a prostitute. They are going at it in his car when a policeman shines a torch through the window. 'What's going on here then?', says the policeman. 'I'm just making love to my wife' says the irishmen. 'I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know that was your wife'. 'Neither did I 'til you shined your torch on her.'

If they lose on Saturday at White Hart Lane, then the most they can get is 31 points. Wolves and Wigan already have 31 and West Ham have 27, so it's only really West Ham that they could conceivably catch. The Hammers have home games against Stoke, Sunderland, Wigan and Man City, and are away to Everton, Liverpool and Fulham Portsmouth are away at Wigan on the 14th April

You, I counted them at just under 200, about 180 then I fell asleep. (Not really)

What I hate is that every american film has to have a shot through the windscreen of two people screaming with their mouths open. What's all that about?

One of the greatest ever songs: and for added poignancy:
-
This one is from when I was working in Toronto. I used to visit ny friends 20 miles upstate and then drive back to the city late at night in winter. Gradually the lights of the city would come into view, twinkling fabulously in the sub-zero air. I would have the car radio on and this was all you ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc3xY4UTeDU

There are certain songs that I associate with events in my life. This was my first year at university: October days, dark and rainy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqrMd5y7QXQ

Stamp Duty exemptions for FTBs will not make the slightest difference. It won't free up movement in the housing market higher up the ladder. Getting rid of HIPs would have been far more sensible.

Really? That buggers up that theory then. I was thinking of the character in Life of Brian. He must be a good actor.

My dad always used to play this on the piano. I can't bear to hear it now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnPD3eEUeBU&feature=PlayList&p=D327764D2613F87D&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=46

Well I've just read it. I was brought up on North London 'cheeky chappy' Eric Idle sort of humour where you have to make a joke about everything. I found out later that they have a different sense of humour 'oop north'. Or perhaps they just don't have one.

Yes, I've got one senior and one adult and one of the tickets has a stub missing.

He was doing a lot of organizing, I saw him having a go at Papa although I think most of it went over his head.

Isn't there something about being allowed to sign a pre-contract for someone else within 6 months of the end of your current contract? Did James drop the clause in his current contract about an automatic one year extension, or was it just foregoing a pay rise?
-
I was quoting a Hull City forum. It's all below the Blue Square Premier, isn't it? I'm not sure that any of their playes are good enough, even for that.
