  1. I can't think of any other outcome.
  2. Ah, how romantic :smt060
  3. Unless regulations concerning the segregation have changed, I would expect the same arrangements as the United game, with a different result of course .
  4. The visiting team can claim up to 15% of the available accommodation for which tickets are issued, subject to the availablity of segregation. I don't know what that means in terms of blocks.
  5. Net gate receipts (less the VAT) are shared 45% to each club and 10% to the FA pool. Net receipts are after deducting all expenses of both clubs.
  6. 'Kismet, Hardy'
  7. After all we've been through these last few seasons, why can't we have both?
  8. An early kick-off also restricts drinking time.
  9. Ticket prices must be mutually agreed between the two clubs 'immediately after the draw is known' subject to a minimum of £15.00 for fifth and sixth rounds. Seniors and children can be cheaper. Prize money for the winners is £180,000.
  10. I really wanted Notts County away.
  11. I agree. He did a lot of covering and other unglamorous work. It was nice to see him get a good round of applause when he was subbed.
  12. Tomorrow afternoon after the second match on ITV. The next round will be played the weekend of the 13th/14th February so the home match with Hartlepool will have to be re-arranged.
  13. I prefer your answer Seriously though, I suppose that the semifinals are a realistic possibility, given a favourable draw.
  14. Because we were the first tie drawn for this round. Keep up!
  15. ...and not pass on the payments from Tottenham? Hmm... :smt017
  16. Not being funny but... ...why does it matter to the likes of us any more?
  17. Tottenham are interested in taking Kaboul back for £10m, less the £2m they are owed and £1.5m as the sell-on value, so a net £6.5m for Pompey (or their creditors) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1245137/Tottenham-Manchester-City-Sunderland-10m-race-Portsmouth-defender-Younes-Kaboul.html
  18. I think it's better for both parties if he gets regular football from now on. We need to keep moving upwards and until we find our level I'm afraid we don't have time to let 'potential' develop. We need results now, even if we have to buy them instead of growing them.
  19. The FA must be notified by 12:00 mid-day on the Friday before the tie. I think it must be in writing, which would probably mean a fax.
  20. Yup, Martinez took him to Wigan when he was appointed manager there.
  21. He's a good player at this level. I think he's been a bit unlucky in the Premiership.
  22. Are you saing that the parachute money might be diverted to pay off debts?
  23. 3 match ban for standard violent conduct which starts immediately, i.e. next competitive first team game. If the club appeals then this can possibly be increased by one if the appeal is held to be frivolous. Previous yellows are not affected but if it were two yellows in the same game that would count as one red with a consequent one-match ban. His ban is confirmed here: http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/SuspensionLists.aspx
  24. Grabbing a player by the collar is just as bad as pushing another away in the faceand both could count as violent conduct in my book. What was Morgan supposed to do to defend himself? The ref was losing control of the game by then and the sending-off was a consequence of this. If his control had been tighter from earlier on then this incident would probably not have happened. No doubt his assessor will have detailed it all in his report but it won't help Morgan, I'm afraid.
  25. It will probably be reported as 'violent conduct'. Anything above the top of the chest can be considered as such these days.
