  1. NO NO NO Customers are never idiots. The first rule of business. The customer is always right, even if they’re wrong.
  2. Customers are entitled to moan at any time if they're not getting the service they expect, especially if the anticipated* problems arise. I got my physical ticket a couple of weeks ago. I had rung the ticket office and the young lady said there would be a £10 charge and that someone would ring me to 'vet' me but after waiting over a week I called in to the ticket office down at the ground. The helpful assistant there printed one off for me within a minute. There was no charge. I mentioned that I had phoned earlier and he said that they had all been extremely busy. *anticipated by me
  3. They do, but they should concentrate on the pitchside activities.
  4. But it does nothing to stop touting. There was an article in The Times a few weeks ago explaining how the touts get round this system.
  5. Actually he didn’t. That was a different Liebherr company.
  6. The QR code won’t appear until nearer the game. The ticket isn’t actually sent to your phone. The app contacts their server regularly and updates its details when things change so you can see that you have a ‘ticket’ it’s just that you can’t use it yet. Basically you have been notified that you have a ticket but it is not activated at the moment.
  7. Yeah “carrying on business as”. He obviously owes a creditor money and they have made him bankrupt. Keep well clear.
  8. Thanks for that. I hadn’t seen the selections on the first two goals before.
  9. And if the other team doesn’t take the bait but just stick a couple up front to chase and harry?
  10. What, like trampling on him?
  11. This sums it up for me. It’s the style of play that’s wrong more than the actual goalkeeper. Whoever you have in goal has got to cover too many shots from too many different angles, most of them from his own defenders. And for why?
  12. We need someone younger and more athletic 😉
  13. Correlation does not imply causation. However in this case I’ll make an exception.
  14. That’s the usual idea.
  15. They’re professionals. They’d get over it.
  16. Last season was in the Championship. It’s a big step up to the Premier League. I don’t get this talk about “deserves the opportunity”. This is a ruthless business. There’s no place for sentimental gambling.
  17. He’s played there before. He’s not quick enough in every sense of the word.
  18. Do you have inside knowledge?
  19. Anyone Itchen for them to start? Thought not ☹️
  20. The only way around that is to sell a player before his contract runs out.
  21. That’s always going to be the case with a fixed term contract. On our books his value would have been zero now anyway.
  22. Strachan came to talk at one of our referees’ meetings. He said that the negotiations for Delgado had gone too far for them to be stopped when he became our manager. I got the impression from that that he was not very enthusiastic about him.
  23. Na. Na na na na na, na na na na na.
